Our team prides ourselves on providing professional, customer-focused service. Our service technicians perform detailed diagnostic tests on every customers vehicle to determine all possible issues. After your diagnostic was performed our team shared that the battery needed to be replaced and it was possible that the module communicator may need to be as well. We suggested that we start with a battery replacement to see if that fixed the issue. If it did not then the module communication system would likely need to be replaced next and gave you an idea of the cost. We did not charge the diagnostic fee since you declined the battery replacement. We are glad to hear you did get the battery replaced and hope that continues to address your vehicles issues. Communication was extremely poor then. What I was actually told was that the module was burnt and they HAD to order the new part (cost was over $500) as fast as possible to arrive maybe by Friday. They never said anything about changing the battery first to then assess the module. This is just not true. If that was communicated instead of saying "it has to be replaced because it IS damaged and will cost several hundred dollars" I would have left my car to get the battery replaced. Also, they failed to ever mention about any charges for diagnostics. Therefore, this was never approved by me. Again, I would have likely said yes if further diagnostics, apart from the 20 sec that takes to check the battery were needed.
