My mother purchased her 2nd vehicle with Peoria Ford in June 2020 and there was a manufactures defect with a raised passenger dashboard panel. She reported this and returned to the dealership days after th June 2020 and there was a manufactures defect with a raised passenger dashboard panel. She reported this and returned to the dealership days after the purchase and the vehicle was inspected and was told the part was ordered. It took calling numerous times for the part to be ordered 32 days later. When the vehicle returned for a oil change last week 5 months after the initial notification the service representative stated the appraiser had to inspect the vehicle and it needed to be left at Peoria Ford for 8 weeks before the part was ordered. I called today and spoke with Quentin and he was very rude and evaded my questions such as; why does she need to leave her vehicle and especially 8 weeks, has the part really been ordered, and if there was any timeframe for the part to be delivered. I called back to obtain the part number that was ordered and Kevin refused to provide it and told me that the person that ordered it would have to call me back. I contacted a local autobody company and they said they needed to know the exacted part that was ordered by Peoria Ford, however they should have the needed part in 3 weeks because of the delays normally would be 1 week. Peoria Ford until this is resolved I will not stop seeking fair service and resolution. More
One of the worst car purchase experiences I've ever had. I am a cash buyer from another state and I inquired with the sales team about an Audi they had listed. To say the employee I spoke with lacked refine I am a cash buyer from another state and I inquired with the sales team about an Audi they had listed. To say the employee I spoke with lacked refinement based on first impression is an understatement, but the end result confirmed that. I courteously stated to the salesman, Thomas, that I had been let down twice this summer by dealerships after I stressed to them the importance of just giving me a real idea of what the vehicle looks like and needs because I am not there to see it myself. Many salesmen say the same thing, "This is a really clean car" and then after having a third party inspection done you find out there were all sorts of undisclosed cosmetic and mechanical issues. Thomas did his best to walk around the vehicle sharing what he saw and I was satisfied enough to take the next steps. After an argument between the salesman Thomas and the manager, Cade about the final sales price, while I was on the phone listening to the whole banter, I agreed to the asking price with a slightly reduced dealer handling fee and offered to put a deposit down to hold the vehicle until the next morning. However the sales manager Cade declined my deposit and told me "If you're willing to schedule and pay for a pre-purchase inspection and can close on the vehicle tomorrow I'll hold it for you and get the car across the street to the Audi dealer". I told him, "absolutely" and immediately called the Audi dealership next door to schedule a pre-purchase inspection and contacted a transport company for a shipping quote. The next morning, 2 hours after the pre-purchase inspection was scheduled I get a text saying "the car sold last night, sorry man". Are you kidding me? I replied expressing my distaste and the sales manager Cade called me. He told me there was a customer in the sales room at the same time I was talking to them the previous evening. Then he arrogantly asked me, "You're in business, what would you do if you had a customer in person who was interested versus a customer out of state that wasn't a guaranteed purchase?" I responded telling him, "Yes I am in business and I would NEVER do this to someone. I offered a deposit, which is money in hand, and you didn't accept it. But you gave me your word that you would hold it over night if I were to pay for the inspection, to which I obliged." Don't decline taking my deposit and tell me you will hold the vehicle for me.... just be honest so I can either suggest alternatives or move on. Or tell me there's someone else there looking. Cade went on to tell me "We're the top selling Ford dealer in AZ for a reason buddy". We're not buddies, and it's clear the reason is obviously because you will unscrupulously do whatever you have to do to sell a car. I'm sure we'll find the car we're looking for, but the whole thing is unbelievable especially after asking for honesty and expressing my prior experiences. Hopefully I'll find a dealer somewhere with an ethical approach to car sales, unlike Peoria Ford... More
The service department at Peoria Ford keeps me from considering purchasing another vehicle there. I can understand one glitch on some kind of issue - glitch is simply the only way to describe the inep considering purchasing another vehicle there. I can understand one glitch on some kind of issue - glitch is simply the only way to describe the inept customer service. Just a sampling of missteps - scheduled an online appt for recall work several weeks ahead of desired date; showed up early for appt, checked in, sat down with a cup of coffee, only to find out they didn't have me on the schedule and didn't have the part; had dealer oil change service, showed a coupon on my phone only to be told I had to print it for coupon to be honored; called the phone number on the postcard for recurring service work, waited on hold, gave identifying information, told that service advisors like to schedule that work directly, told my name and number would be forwarded to service department for call back, and finally called the dealership myself three weeks later to schedule. I just can't imagine why, even though it is the closest Ford dealer to my home, I would by my Mustang replacement at Peoria Ford. I get it that dealership's service departments are notorious for over selling and I can manage my response to that. This kind of careless, nonchalant customer service just seals the deal for me - with another Ford dealer. More
