Exellent Buying Experience with Big Doug at Peoria Ford I had been looking for a particular car for several months. It was only offered one year, and when they popped up for sale, they usually moved pretty quickly. I received an alert from AutoTrader that one had popped up in Arizona, so I quickly logged on and contacted the dealer. Big Doug contacted me back in less than 30 minutes and provided the details about the vehicle. As it would be an out-of-state purchase, I needed him to be my eyes and ears to review the car. He sent videos and photos of the car, and provided additional photos of areas I had questions about. I put down a deposit and scheduled a flight out to pick the car up. Big Doug met us at the airport and brought us to the dealership where the car was cleaned and ready to go... in far better condition than I had imagined! Doug was spot on with his critique of the car and I was a happy buyer. Closing the deal was a snap, and we were out of the dealership in 1.5 hours. I can't say enough about the treatment I received from Big Doug and all the staff at Peoria Ford! Thanks for everything! We are enjoying our drive back to Denver in our newly purchased M3 from Big Doug at Peoria Ford! More
Very unpleasant experience I ended up visiting Peoria Ford because of an ad for a 2 year old car. One that I'd be kinda looking out for and when this one showed up I called that I ended up visiting Peoria Ford because of an ad for a 2 year old car. One that I'd be kinda looking out for and when this one showed up I called that and made an appointment to see the car. The appointment was 2 hours from when I had called. 30 minutes after I called, Anthony, called and introduced himself and said that I'd be working with him. He said the car would be out front and that he'd have a Carfax ready and the keys and we'd take it for a test drive. I arrived 10 minutes early. Asked for Anthony and proceeded to wait for 10 minutes in the showroom. Anthony came out, introduced himself and said he'd been finishing a deal. Then he offered me a seat and said, "I have bad news but really good news." He had just sold the car I was there to see but they had another with 2x the miles, different color and same price. I asked him why he didn't call me, since he clearly had my number, and let me know he was already in the process of selling and not waste my time. His answer was that it's the nature of the business. My answer was that I'd let everyone know how Peoria Ford conducts business. More
No return phone call I had problems with Peoria Ford since June 2019. They told me I would get a Visa credit card for 160 dollars. If I would buy they tires. Well I boug I had problems with Peoria Ford since June 2019. They told me I would get a Visa credit card for 160 dollars. If I would buy they tires. Well I bought those tires from them and never received the Visa credit card. By the time I had to do my own research since Peoria Ford said to me I had to look into. Myself. The rebate expired. I went back to Peoria Ford and they told me that they can’t do anything about getting the Visa credit card. So they said I would get THREE FREE oil change. So I had no choice but to go for there offer. I was working with AJ So when I went in on March 2020 for my FREE oil change. When it was done AJ told me I owe $32.00. I said for what!! He said they put it some oil booster and fuel system cleaner. I DID NOT AGREE TO THIS! So I talk to the manager of Peoria Ford. They returned my $32.00 dollars. Now I have been trying to get another one of my FREE oil change. I have called AJ cell phone and also the service center. I still have no return calls. So My thought to all of this is DO NOT BELEIVE OR TRUST ANYTHING THE SERVICE PART SAYS. More
Very friendly, professional, no pressure environment. Didn't feel like I HAD to purchase after test driving. All the measures taken to implement safety first. Didn't feel like I HAD to purchase after test driving. All the measures taken to implement safety first. More
Had to take them to court We purchased a Tuscany model truck (one of the most expensive trucks on their lot at the time) from Peoria Ford in 10/17. We bought it NEW, which was We purchased a Tuscany model truck (one of the most expensive trucks on their lot at the time) from Peoria Ford in 10/17. We bought it NEW, which was indicated on our purchase contract. As with any new vehicle purchase, we were guaranteed the standard 3-year, 36,0000 mile warranty. In late 2019, the brake master cylinder suddenly (and dangerously) went out with only 9,000 miles on the truck. Two things we thought at this time: (1) This part should NO WAY break down after only 9,000 miles. It typically should last 100K miles, and (2) At least it’s covered by our warranty because our 3 years is not up until 10/20. My husband took it into the nearest Ford dealership (which was not Peoria Ford) and had to pay for the part and repair because they couldn’t find his vehicle in the “system” for the warranty. So, we contacted Peoria Ford, fully expecting that we could just submit the invoice to them and they would reimburse us for the cost, which was $650. After several weeks and MULTIPLE calls back and forth with the sales manager, the finance manager, and others at Peoria Ford, as well was with Ford Motor Company, we finally found out from Peoria Ford that they had messed up. They had put the wrong date into their system as the “in service” date. Instead of 10/17, they had a date of May 2016 in their system!! So according to their system, our warranty was up in May 2019!! They said that they had to go by the date in their system so they couldn’t reimburse us for the repair. REALLY? You can’t just write a check for $650 simply because it’s the right thing to do after YOU made the error? You don’t feel that this amount is worth your reputation?? So, we took them to small claims court and won of course (case #CC2020048455SC) but it really shouldn’t have had to come to this point. We can’t BELIEVE that Peoria Ford would be so ignorant as to just think they could blow off a promised warranty with the excuse being that they made an error and so we have to suffer for it. And they had the gall to comment that we should have purchased an extended warranty. Even without this warranty issue, Peoria Ford should have reimbursed us just simply because this part was obviously defective since it died so early in its life. My husband loves Ford vehicles, but we will NEVER purchase a vehicle at Peoria Ford again and we do not recommend them to anyone. If this is how they handle a $650 warranty issue, how will they handle other customer issues that could come up after you purchase a vehicle from them?? Some of the people we dealt with at Peoria Ford were: Scott Hubler, Sales Manager; Pat Hickey, General Manager. More
BEWARE, PEORIA FORD ARE SCAMMERS!!!!!!!Peoria Ford kept asking for a review!! THEY DO NOT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR!!!!!!! Peoria Ford ARE THE BIGGEST SCAMMERS I HAVE EVER MET!!! They used BAIT AND SWITCH TACT asking for a review!! THEY DO NOT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR!!!!!!! Peoria Ford ARE THE BIGGEST SCAMMERS I HAVE EVER MET!!! They used BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS the entire time!!! Linda (Sales) and Alex (Service) are horrible horrible people!!!!! They are so rude and disrespectful!! As a customer I have never been treated so condescending and disrespectful!! All they want is your money and after they rip you off, they act like they don't know you anymore and treat you like crap!! I am still waiting for them to ship me the rear windshield wiper that they promised and it also shows it in the sales contract. I have called many times, but they do not return calls and don't honor what they said they would. We purchased the vehicle in February and now it's 3 months later and we still did not receice the windshield wiper, even though we purchased a $26,000 vehicle. Here is the whole story: We walked in and had a USAA price guarantee for a vehicle, Linda said no problem, we will honor the price and not to worry about the price, because they will make it right. What a LIE!!!!! They put over $5000 on top of the promised price and said those are charges that they can not remove and they did not even clarify what the charges were. We had to argue with them and call USAA in order to get the guaranteed USAA price. We were already preapproved through USAA and they tried to run our credit and wanted us to finance through them, even though we made it clear that we do not want that and that we were already preapproved, they kept saying, EVEN IF YOU DON'T USE OUR LENDER, WE STILL HAVE TO RUN YOUR CREDIT!!!!! They kept LYING and then they said they would remove the $5000 of unidentified charges and then we went to the Finance Department to sign the contract, ALL OF A SUDDEN the $5000 were back on there and Kelly the Finance Person said "I DON'T KNOW HOW IT GOT BACK ON THERE"!!!!! Then we wanted to purchase GAP insurance through them and they said it is not possible, we can only purchase GAP, if we use their lender. They kept lying about it and kept asking to run our credit. Then we called USAA with them in the room, because we knew that you can purchase GAP from them, even if you don't use their lender and after we spoke to USAA and USAA confirmed that you can buy GAP without using their lender, Kelly was like ok, we can sell you the GAP. Then we signed the sales contract and we were not ALLOWED to take the vehicle home, although we had a blank cash check from USAA. We have bought many vehicles from other dealers and they always treated us good and had awesome customer service. I would NEVER EVER go back there again. HUGE HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!! BEWARE, THEY ALSO RECORD YOUR CALLS AND THEN HOLD IT AGAINST YOU AND ARGUE AND LIE!!!!!! More
Yesterday we bought the new 2020 Ford Mustang GT500 off the show room floor. I bet a lot of people have inquired about this car and didn’t purchase it because of the price tag. However one lucky sale the show room floor. I bet a lot of people have inquired about this car and didn’t purchase it because of the price tag. However one lucky sales guy name Thomas Knox walked up asked if we were serious....I said absolutely but we don’t want to be here all day. We filled out the credit app and said we were hungry and were going to Whataburger. We wanted the deal done by the time we got back. When we returned Thomas was happy beyond believe because it was an easy deal to finance and he had all the paperwork ready to go! What made our purchase experience over the top was Thomas’s excitement for us....he was sincere and hustled thru the entire process. Hands down the team at Peoria Ford walk us throughly rather quickly...all in all it was 2 hours and that included move two cars on the show room floor around to get our car out. Last but least we also enjoyed the conversation with the finance guy....I forgot his name but I remember he has triplets and all his kids go to ASU....great guy and he knows his stuff! More
