Indifferent Customer Care I made an appointment earlier this week with "Jason" to replace a broken tailgate handle on my 2010 Ranger. I confirmed the part was available. I arr I made an appointment earlier this week with "Jason" to replace a broken tailgate handle on my 2010 Ranger. I confirmed the part was available. I arrived, as advised, at 8:00 am. Jason then informed me that "we are a little backed up" and the repair would have to wait until Monday, 7/15. I work for a living and took off the day in order to have the repair done today and not Monday. No attempt was made to contact me via phone call, email or text and reschedule. I purchased the tailgate handle at Peoria for $31.00 and will have it installed elsewhere. Advising customers to return at a later date for the Dealership's convenience reflects a lack of integrity in your Service Department. More
New battery, Don't buy a battery here. My mom 77 y/o bought her battery here. He car died. I tried charging the battery, it wouldn't charge. Pulled it took it to Don't buy a battery here. They stated "it's bad but we can't replace it without seeing the vehicle." So I reinstalled the battery, pushed the vehicle out of the garage, jumped it. Took it the car and battery back to the Fird Dealership waited for them to check it and honor the warranty. Waste of four hours, total crap at Peoria Ford... never again. HORRIBLE!!! I bought my first car at Peoria Ford, I got a used one for WAY more than it was worth. Just started a new job driving 120 miles both way so I was in n I bought my first car at Peoria Ford, I got a used one for WAY more than it was worth. Just started a new job driving 120 miles both way so I was in need of a new car. We got everything figured out, they put me in a new 2019 Ford EcoSport with only 21 miles. I had to go back a week later to give them my deposit on the car and at that time they told me they have to take my car back because no banks would accept me. They didn't even try to get me into a cheaper or used car. I will NEVER go back here or recommend them to ANYONE!! I even asked to make sure the sale went through to the banks and I was assured it did! I also have two children to provide for so now I don't have a car I need another plan. THANKS FOR NOTHING PEORIA FORD!!! More
Painful experience We were in the dealership 4 weeks ago looking at a Raptor before we left on vacation. We returned from vacation and found the Raptor we originally looked at and text the salesman. He approved a price that we were willing to pay with the extended warranty. We drove 3 hrs (we live in the white mtns) to buy the truck and NOW they don’t honor the price. We then offer $1000 more and sign an agreement with the head mgr and go into finance. Now they can’t find the agreement we sign and want ($2k) more for the warranty. How convenient they lost the agreement. They blamed it on the salesman. We had so many men come in to tell us why they can’t honor the price. This took 4 1/2 hrs! I wouldn’t go back to this dealership nor would I recommend them!!!! Deceiving dealership even after seeing the text that was written to us! More

Terrible Sales Experience So I bought a car from Peoria Ford from Douglas Webb. It went smooth, up until I got into the finance office where Kevin the gentleman who took care o So I bought a car from Peoria Ford from Douglas Webb. It went smooth, up until I got into the finance office where Kevin the gentleman who took care of me in that department started changing my rate and making it go higher if I didn’t but purchase a warranty for the vehicle but somehow said it would stay the same as what I originally agreed upon with I got the warranty, so I got a 5 year 60k mile warranty tacked onto the payment to keep my rate the same which was very shady from the get go. And after they let me take the car home for ELEVEN days I receive no calls or email from any bank or union saying I’ve been approved and to give my info to them. So I call Kevin and ask what’s going on and if I’ve been approved and he tell me, “No you have not been approved. I need Pay stubs and a W2, and want to try and find you more income.” Which is not how I do thing. Providing proof of income is one thing, lying about income to “Find” more is not acceptable and is lying. So I tell him I’ve changed my mind with how things have gone and don’t want to be submitted to more banks and will bring the car back with not having any approval. That’s where things got ugly. When I arrived the next day and talked to Douglas Webb the Salesman he told me he’d bring me mind previous trade in up and and to give him both keys to the vehicle I’m returning and that’d be it. And I replied back that I’d like to have my down payment returned to me and he lied to my face saying that is non refundable. I went back and forth with him for a few minutes sayinf that is not correct as far ad my knowledge goes and asked him to show me where in the contact it states that. He brought it out and it indeed DID NOT, say that anywhere. He went on to say that the miles I racked up on the car will be charged back to me because I’m bringing the car back and that alone seems very unjust because I was not approved by any bank or credit union for the loan per Kevin’s information he sent me the previous day saying he wants to find me more income. So to sum this story up, they took my card finally to give me my supposed refund but would not provide me a reciept saying it was ran, then later changed that story to, “He’ll do it tomorrow when the banks are open.” Working for the car business myself for 5 years I know you don’t need banks to be open to credit back someone’s card. It’s as easy as charging someone’s card for a deposit at night. And so far they still haven’t provided me with proof or a recipe after 24 hours. Combined with lying to my face, being disrespectful saying I was “affecting Doug’s paycheck.” (Said by him) Bringing a car back that wasn’t even approved by anyone yet after 11 days I was treated terribly and don’t recommend anyone buying a car at Peoria Ford. It’s a despicable dealership to purchase a car at. Better luck at Bell Ford or anywhere else. More
