STAY AWAY! Terrible business. My husband is a local small business owner. He took his truck to Performance GMC last week for an appraisal. Amongst other local d Terrible business. My husband is a local small business owner. He took his truck to Performance GMC last week for an appraisal. Amongst other local dealerships, he was offered a reasonable price. He chose this dealership as they are close to our home. He left the truck at the dealership for a full evaluation, pictures were taken, VIN was run, and they offered him a price. There was nothing fishy about this entire encounter. He took it back to trade it in, contracts signed. The dealership purchased the truck from him, VIN on the paperwork and everything. The registration was signed over to the dealership, plates were turned into the DMV(as instructed) and insurance on the vehicle was canceled. He received a call later that evening from the GM, Robert, of Performance GMC that the truck needed to be returned because THEY didn’t realize this wasn’t a diesel truck - despite having the truck in their possession, sending photos of the MOTOR to their wholesaler, running the VIN, and having open communication with us without ever asking. After some unreturned phone calls, Robert informed my husband that he would like to keep this as an “internal” issue. He explained that he would drop the vehicle that was signed over to the dealership in our driveway as a “courtesy” since the plates were already returned. He then proceeded to threaten my husband saying that the contact doesn’t mean anything because the lien is still in his name. Now they are costing us for THEIR OWN MISTAKE. This is theft. To its core. These people are disgusting and sneaky. Do not do business here. We thought this would be convenient and easy but now we have the BBB and lawyers involved. Any recommendations with experience in this matter are greatly appreciated. More

The entire meeting was relaxed and seamless the steering of the dealership was a relaxed atmosphere extremely helpful and not your typical salesman.
