My repair took way too long and also I do not believe I was given as much information as available. I learned through a friend that 2021 GM 6.2L lifters have failure problems. After a quick Google search was given as much information as available. I learned through a friend that 2021 GM 6.2L lifters have failure problems. After a quick Google search it appears GM has known about this problem for a year. I was led to believe the dealer didn’t know what was wrong with the truck for two weeks when the reality is everyone Internet laid the problem - both the symptoms and fix. My truck was no different.
