Performance Honda

Buying my 5th Honda I've driven my 2008 Accord for 10 years and probably could've driven it another 10 years. But, as a teacher, with retirement only a few years away, I I've driven my 2008 Accord for 10 years and probably could've driven it another 10 years. But, as a teacher, with retirement only a few years away, I felt this was the time to buy a new Honda. I've been a loyal Honda buyer, but I was willing to look at other comparable cars. If I could make a deal for the car I wanted, at the right price, I thought it would be worthwhile to make payments for 4 years and have a newer car to drive when I retire in 4 years. I did my homework and researched all the current reviews for the best of the 2018 class. I then proceeded to make my rounds & explained this to at least 7 different dealerships, including 3 other Honda dealers, as well as Volvo, Acura, Audi and Mazda dealerships. But, it was Performance Honda that stepped up to work with me on my plan in a meaningful way. After talking with Marissa Bowman and Joe Stenger, I left the showroom feeling they understood my situation and hopeful I could reach a deal with them. The next morning I received a call from Joe, assuring me that he would work with me to close the deal if I could come back to Performance Honda that afternoon. I did return and with his & Marissa's relationship building skills, creative negotiating strategies and a bit of compromise on both sides, we were able to shake on the deal of my new 2018 Honda Accord Touring 2.0 with all the bells and whistles that I wanted and now could afford. I am grateful to both of them for making sure I was able to secure my 5th Honda, which I know will provide me the safe, secure (and fun!) transportation I wanted, now and in the future. Word of mouth is the best advertising in my opinion. Since I bought my new Honda, it's been my pleasure to recommend Performance Honda as the dealership that makes deals/dreams come true. They get an A+ grade from this teacher!! More

He was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable making me feel comfortable from the beginning. He answered every question I asked and most importantly didn’t pressure me. During my search I visited several dealerships, including another Honda dealership closer to my home, but none made me feel like a valued customer as this dealership. I would certainly recommend this dealership and tell them to ask for Conrad. More

Hunting for a 2015 CRV- EX I started looking for a Honda CRV-EX 2015 about two weeks ago. I had talked with or dealt with at least 7-8 dealers plus the online dealer Carvana. I I started looking for a Honda CRV-EX 2015 about two weeks ago. I had talked with or dealt with at least 7-8 dealers plus the online dealer Carvana. I was getting no where with any of the dealers. My budget was either too low for what I wanted (3 dealers) or the sales rep's attitude was too adversarial or unfriendly (4-5 dealers). I get that most Honda dealers have a product that is in high demand but that does not preclude you from being friendly or personable. I'm a nice guy who is very HONDA loyal! The minute I walked onto the Performance Honda Fairfield lot I knew I was going to have a better experience. I was not let down. My Sales rep, Devin Mitchell, not only found the exact CRV I was looking for but she also made the negotiations painless and fun. In fact, the Sales process at Performance was exactly what I expected from all the other reps or dealers I had visited. Devin, Joe and Roger were friendly and personable. Not only did I leave the dealership very satisfied with my purchase (and price!) I also have recommended that two friends should shop there. Great customer service! We love Performance Honda. This is our 2nd time leasing from them and both times we had great interactions with the employees. I had started visiting back in January to figure out whether I wanted to lease again or buy out my current van and then there was a recall so I wasn’t even allowed to do anything with the van until it was fixed. Shane was very helpful in making sure we got it fixed as quickly as possible and his personality is what kept me coming back to Performance instead of going to another dealer. He was straight forward and easy to work with! We ended up leasing again and Sean was our finance guy. He was easy to work with as well, explained the paperwor and answered our questions! Something else I like about Performance is the lounge area they have for when you wait for your vehicle to be worked on! More
