We originally found the automobile online which offered a free car fax. It seemed to be exactly what we have been looking for. I called to confirm that the vehicle was still available. We advised we be arriving within a couple hours. By the time we arrived the vehicle was parked outside the door and was available for viewing. Britt was very willing to answer all questions and after a test drive we continued to close the sale. We then worked with Richard who was extremely thorough while confirming our financing. Our overall experience was very pleasant and would enjoy doing business with them again. More
I purchased a 2013 Honda Accord sedan, 6-speed manual from Performance Honda. Overall my experience with this dealership is positive. I did have to spend some time negotiating my trade-in but this is pretty typical. I was able to sign all the necessary paperwork and pick the car up the following morning. It was ready as soon as I arrived at the dealership. The reason I did not give this dealership a 5-star rating is my car is missing a small plastic cover on the plastic cowl directly underneath the front windshield. It's a small rectangular shaped opening in which a clip would be placed to attach the plastic cowl to the body of the car. The missing cover piece would then cover this opening. I did not notice it was missing until I arrived home and promptly contacted Megan. She has been very responsive in ordering a replacement piece and sending it to me. However, I am not sure if a clip should be in place as well and this piece shouldn't have been missing to begin with. Overall I recommend this dealership and would gladly work with Megan in the future!! More
I recently purchased a CRV-EX after doing much research and receiving internet quotes from various dealers. Andrew Gomez assisted me when I came into the dealership to test drive the CRV. What I appreciated the most was that I never felt pressured to upgrade models or add on items I didn't want or need. In fact, Andrew suggested that if money was an issue, I could get great value with going with an LX. Wow! That was unexpected as no one has ever suggested I spend less for a vehicle! Andrew was able to match a price quote from another dealer and the trade-in value I received for my car was more than I expected due to previous experiences with other dealers. Richard Benaidrene from the finance department was also a delight to deal with. I have never enjoyed purchasing a vehicle so much! Anyone looking for a Honda needs to consider Performance and look for Andrew Gomez. I don't think you'll be disappointed! More

Sorry for the not so good review. I am trouble with the loan agreement. I explained to Joe, I did not need a loan when trying to work out a deal on a used RAV4. Aflter severial hours of consideration we agreed on a price and I was going to pay in full. Joe ask if he could go ahead and process a loan, so he could get a little " Kick Back". I agreed, to to better his position. Joe did not explain the loan was going to cost me an up front $195.00 fee. I was tired and agreed. It was my own fault for not taking one day to review the paper work. I took Joe on his honor. Now I have a loan, that I did not need, with a cost of $195.00. I am not wealthy, just prudent, well most of the time. If Joe can make some amends I will change my review. FYI Take a day to rethank your deal. Check the fine details. I should of. More

Unexpectedly my 1999 Honda Accord, which I had purchased from Performance Honda, broke down, so I went back to the friendly folks there to get a new vehicle. Since it was unexpected that I needed a new car, I did not have a down payment saved up, but fortunately there was a special going on for a Zero Down/Zero Due lease option on a new LX model. Quite an upgrade from my 99 model! Joe Stenger was very helpful and even set up all the new tech options for me! Joe was not pushy in any way (especially since I went in alone as a single female), and he did not try to talk me into extra options that I didn't need. He was great! When this lease is up, I will buy/lease there again and I highly recommend this dealership to my friends and family! More
Terrible experience overall at Performance Honda in Fairfield! A manager, Reed Taylor, on 2/27/13 and 2/28/13, brought me in multiple times for a bait and switch. I requested a black or dark grey Accord from my initial conversation. I was given a good price but lied to about what was in stock and what was available at other dealers. I left to look at another dealer because I wasn’t sure if I was getting an honest answer. After returning from looking at the other dealer I was told I need to put $1000.00 down for them to get my color choice in. After speaking with Reed Taylor on 3/1/13 I was informed that since I left yesterday the numbers will be different because I lost my "loyalty" points when I left to go and look at another dealer. He said he would call me back Friday afternoon. I received a call back on Sunday which is when Reed explained instead of my payment being $595/month (I have documentation of this), my new payment would be $650/month. By the way, Reed told me directly that the closest car in my color was in Columbus Ohio. He showed me a "printout" to confirm what he was saying. I caught him in a direct lie when I arrived at the other dealer with several options in my color and style. I have leased from this dealership before with a great experience. This dishonesty is not consistent with the image of this dealership. I would like the owners of the dealership to know how poor the quality of their manager is. Reed Taylor's arrogance to punish a customer for looking at options is inexcusable. Then to charge a returning customer $55 more a month because of his bruised ego is laughable and pathetic. I doubt this is what the image the dealership wants to promote. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. You should check the BBB before going to Performance Honda. More

The financial manager treated me like a fool. He first gave me6.9% apr which was different than 3% the sales gave me. He told me that was because I have a bad credit score. Then I said I need to.talk to my bank and get a better one, he asked me to wait and returned with 4.5% and said that the rate would be the same as I go to my bank. I was so shocked that the apr can be modified that easily. This is my first time getting a loan and I hate cheating personally. For testing purpose, as IT people usually do, I proposed that I may get better one from tHe local credit union because my company has partnership wIth them and Todd returned 3.29 % and said no one can beat this rate. Now I knew that he has no sincere working on the best interest of his customer but manipulating me as a child. All they were doing are asking me to sign their paper work before the loan talk. Why? That is becuause after they have my signature they can give any rediculous apr to this fool!!!! This may be wrong but it is my real feeling. I left the dealer without purchasing the car even though I like the car and I am okay with the price. Haha, that was not the end of the story. The sales manager and the financial manager came out ask me if I can accept the 0.9% interest rate that they just got for me after a "big fight with their manager". Gentalman, don't you feel TIRED OF LYING? You just told me that I can get nothing because I have a bad credit and 30 minutes later I became the "creditable person" in your eyes? I feel like I am nothing but only an ATM machine in front of them.... Pathetic, right? BTW, I like the sales, larry, if I spell right. Not pushy, okay professional, nice person. I will never come back to this dealer and I am gonna tell all the people around me this story. Guys, that maybe only my personal story to a extreme case.
