They don't care about you after you buy from them I purchased this vehicle 2 months ago. When it was purchased, the check engine light was on. I asked to have it checked before driving off the lot. Th I purchased this vehicle 2 months ago. When it was purchased, the check engine light was on. I asked to have it checked before driving off the lot. The sales person I worked with told me it was and that everything was fine. Nothing to worry about. When I drove off the lot, the check engine light came back on, but I was told it was a faulty sensor and I had nothing to worry about. It has been all downhill from there. From the beginning, it had trouble starting. It would chug but wouldn't turn over. I figured it was just from the cold. It always started the second try. But now, two months later, it has broken down. It will turn on fine and run for about 10-15 minutes until the engine is warmed up. After that, when accelerating and it reaches 2000 RPM, it begins to chug and lurch, as if misfiring. It will begin to sputter and eventually has white smoke coming out of the engine. As soon as this happened, I had it towed to Kings Honda to have them look at it since that's where I bought it only 2 months prior. Upon arrival, I was guided to speak with the sales manager. From the beginning, he was very rude to me. He was very defensive and could not seem to understand why I would bring it back to where I bought it. He agreed to have it checked out the next day and let me know. The next day, I was told they found sludge buildup and cleaned it for me and that it was all better. I went to pick it up and decided to drive it around to check. Sure enough, within 10 minutes, it started again, chugging and not accelerating. It was if he had not listened when I explained what was going on and then didn't test drive it once it was "fixed." I immediately took it back in and insisted that the manager drive it himself to feel what was going on. He was smug about it and told me repeatedly, "I don't know what you want me to do." He took it back to the shop the next day and he came back to tell me that they don't actually know what's wrong with it. It might be something that will cost me almost $300 but that might not fix it. He forced me to remove my car from the lot after 2 days, even though it was not in drivable condition, because they "didn't have space for it." He now refuses to help me in any way because we "can't prove" there was anything wrong with it when I bought it. He has continued to be extremely rude on the phone and is defensive, as though he knew something was wrong with it. I understand I bought it "as is" without a warranty, however, under Consumer Sales Practices Act of 1972, it states that I am protected from deceptive sales practices. More

The Day my Hard Luck Transformed into a Honda You may not be super heroes, but last Wednesday it certainly felt as if the Honda team was fighting adversity and turning hardship into victory. My 4 year old car was never going to run again, and I didn't know how I could continue paying off my old car and make payments on a new one. John and Glen suited up and in very little time I was back on the road in a new Honda Fit! Just goes to show that heroes don't all wear capes. My Fit is reliable, safe, and getting leukemia positive cats to their vet appointments with the greatest of ease. It gets great gas mileage and has an affordable monthly payment.
