We had test driven some really great cars with some really great sales people at other companies. So when we were referred to another salesman by a friend, we were hesitant. After all, we had liked our sales guys at the other places just fine, and the cars they had to offer were..good enough. From the moment that we walked into Perkins Motor Co., we were treated like old friends. From Ernie walking up and shaking our hands and then personally finding the salesman that we were referred to (we felt bad about that). A SALESMAN WENT AND FOUND ANOTHER SALESMAN TO HELP US WITHOUT GETTING UPSET! We weren't treated like walking "dollar signs", we were treated respectfully and in a timely manner. Now this review is not just about how impressed we truly were with Perkins, but it's mostly about how impressed we were with our sales agent, Lawrence Porter. He worked tirelessly to make a deal happen for us, and happen right. We were referred to Lawrence because he was an "honest man" and a "good guy". I agree wholeheartedly. Not only was he all of those things, but he was the most knowledgeable sales agent that I've ever worked with. He personally sat with us AFTER WE BOUGHT A CAR and went over every button, switch, and gadget. He even called our electronic support line and helped us get set up with all of our electronics. This is after we bought the car. He already had our money, and could've just shaken our hands and we would have went happily on our way to read the manual and figure everything out on our own. I probably still would have written this review. Randy in the finance department really sealed the deal for us. He worked hard on a plan that we would go home happy with. The entire process was smooth and professional (and that's saying a lot if they have to work with me..). If you're looking for a great car used or new, I recommend that you walk into Perkins Motor Co. and give them a chance to serve you. Ask for Lawrence Porter. You won't regret it. More

It began with Ms Backes-Loughner and a manager (wish I could recall his name) who were willing to support our unique requirements and referred us to Mr Faidley. Steve handled a unique/uncommon situation with my father (100% disabled Vietnam veteran) where several other dealerships couldn't/chose not to. That includes other local dealerships as well as those in Denver, Brighton, Ft Collins, Castle Rock, Pueblo, etc. He took us seriously and treated my father and family with utmost respect; he went the extra mile to find solutions to our situation/requirements where he could've done less (as others did). Steve won our trust where others couldn't--doing research of comparable vehicles across the state, giving us options, showing us hard data/numbers/etc without trying to up-sell or pressure us. We were never rushed, he was responsive, and he spent a great deal of time with us. Mr. Lucas (Finance) was similarly helpful and flexible as he also had to deal with some unique arrangements -- he and Steve made it work. I had done a lot of research on the vehicle and its options, financing arrangements/rates, rebates, and obviously pricing. I had compared other dealerships, USAA's car buying service, and several other car buying resources -- Steve and the team were always ahead of the pack and passed the "tests". As an active duty member myself and having purchased several vehicles, this was easily the best experience I have had, and a Vietnam vet went home in a new vehicle feeling truly taken care of and having maximized his limited benefits.
