I am new to Colorado Springs and I had heard a lot of good things about Perkins and their service and prices. Since my first visit to Perkins I felt very well informed on everything to do with car buying since I am new to all this that was a great thing to have with my lack of experience. Everyone at the dealership seemed very military friendly and genuine. Especially my sales associate Scott, he made sure that I knew what I was doing and even gave a couple of very helpful pointers to direct me in a better way. At first I was unsure about what I really wanted or the price I wanted to pay but within the week I was in a used 2010 Ford Taurus that so far I am extremely happy with. The amazing service from Scott Matela ad the Perkins Team has helped me greatly in finding this vehicle and leaving the dealership happy and with a car that I can call my own and not regret. Thanks again Scott Matela and Perkins Motors for being so friendly and helping a rookie out. More
When dealing with Perkins Motors and the salesman Scott it was not foreclosed up front that the prices were nonnegotiable. I had already test drove the truck and had cash in hand to purchase, then it was told to me that the price was set and no negotiating. Scott seamed to have a communication issue. It seamed he thought either I was a shoe in for the truck or the other side of the coin thought I couldn't sell my Jeep or I couldn't afford the truck. Even after the paperwork got started it seamed he was preoccupied with another couple who he was selling to that Saturday. It was busy in the dealership, but I felt left hanging wondering were my paperwork and the process was. I had to find Scott and ask whats going on? "Oh I sent your paperwork to finance it will be about 30min before they can get to you". Again he seamed like the deal was done with me and had a better deal going on with this other couple and didn't need to be concerned with me. I don't think he likes kids either, we had our 21 month old with us during the test drive and the finishing paperwork, he was not friendly to my son. Over all it was a smooth process from beginning to end. I had a better experience with the finance guy than my salesman. In writing this review, yes I did purchase the truck even though the price was nonnegotiable. After researching other dealers that had this model truck, for the year, milage and overall condition it was the best deal. I am very happy with my truck. More

Bill Ward is as good as they come. This guy could teach classes on how to treat the buying public. The department sales manager and Paul Neuman were equally professional and friendly. I had a great experience purchasing my new to me 2010 F150. I had very specific requirments for the F150 I was looking for based on age, number of miles, trim level and needing a Super Crew Cab. Perkin F150. I had very specific requirments for the F150 I was looking for based on age, number of miles, trim level and needing a Super Crew Cab. Perkins had the exact Truck I was looking for. Working with Frank Claros was a true pleasure. Frank was very knowledgable about the vehicle and was not high pressure at all. I took the Truck to a mechanic to inspect and found it had a few small issues that needed to be addressed. Frank worked with his manager and they cut me back a check for the full amount of the estimate given by the Ford Dealer to complete the repairs. After we agreed on the price for the Truck and my trade, working with the finance manager was again very easy. I never opt to purchase an extended warranty on any of the vehicles I buy. In the past, I have had finance managers use high pressure tactics to try to get me to change my mind. Once we discussed the extended warranty options available and I declined, he simply moved on and we completed the financing. The whole thing took about 45 minutes to complete. A bonus was that Perkins includes a 2 year 100K Powertrain Warranty on all used vehicles they sell under 100K miles. I would definitely recommend Perkins Dodge to anyone looking to buy a new or used vehicle. I would especially recommend working with Frank Claros. He is a great guy to work with. More
I would like to thank salesman Ron Booze for going above and beyond to make my car buying experience as little as traumatic as possible. It ended up being a two week process and I know I was wearing him DOWN. He probably even lost some some hair. At the end of the day I ended up purchasing a car that my husband sent me there to purchase in the first place. And then the coolest thing ever happened. I got to ring this big golden bell!!! In all seriousness. Ron Booze is a great salesman. A very PATIENT and KNOWLEDGEABLE man. I would like to thank him as well as the rest of the Perkins Motors staff. Normally I wouldn't take the time to write a negative review but I think that others should be forwarded. There are only two choices for jeep dealership in this city and I recommended that everyone go to review but I think that others should be forwarded. I was lied to by this dealership about pricing, my constant requests for no phone calls (because I work at night) were ignored. And they were so pushy that when I told them I didn't want to be contacted by then any more at all period, Gary had the audacity to infer that I was mistaken and he had only ever called once. Not to mention that they didn't even bother to do a proper search for the vehicle I wanted, whereas the other guys found it in a matter of seconds. Do yourself a favor and find someone else to do business with. More
