I owned a 2003 power stroke diesel I had purchased a year before from a hyundai dealership up north. Within that year the repairs cost nearly as much as the diesel truck was worth. I walked into Perry Ford and was greeted by salesperson Blake. i explained my situation how upsidedown I was with my current truck loan however was only satisfied with owning a truck. He took me on a test drive with a 2011 ford ranger and we discussed this year gave a large rebate that would help me out of my negative loan... save money on fuel... and a 5 year warranty. Blake was very professional, friendly, patient with me, understanding,knowledgeable and did not push me into purchasing the vehicle. I indicated i only wanted a stick shift charcoal gray which they did not have in stock. Blake took his own time on his day off to pick up my truck in San Diego and was delivered in a very timely matter. They gave me an extremly generous amount for the diesel truck i traded in. I went into finance with Mani-who was very knowledgable and helpful as well- who got me a great interest rate and affordable payment. the next day Mani called me and told me he had gotten me an even lower interest rate which i was very happy with.The entire dealership went above and beyond expectations and i am very happy with my new vehicle, the staff, and my auto loan. I would highly reccommend this dealership for your next vehicle purchase. More
We came looking for a used car, sub $10k, with high resale value. Our sales guy Blake showed us exactly what we were looking for, was knowledgeable about the car, and had a friendly and casual demeano resale value. We got the car for a good discount on the ticket price, Blake (and his manager Vido) were calm and realistic while negotiating. Perry Ford have a 5 day / 200 mile "full cashback" offering, so we get to test-drive the car fully before committing. After one day we came back due to a noise in the air-con and no jack in the boot, both of these were taken care of immediately, no questions asked. I highly recommend Perry Ford - this has been my best car dealer experience by far. More

Worst car dealer EVER! When I think of of unprofessional, lying, and manipulative used car dealer ship, I think of Perry ford! I came and went four times until I got a salesmen that I liked, probably because lying, and manipulative used car dealer ship, I think of Perry ford! I came and went four times until I got a salesmen that I liked, probably because he didn't force me into test driving cars and just let me pick. While others lied, were manipulate, and looks suspicious. One of the dealers Blake made me feel like he was a seal killer, He was so awkward and weird. He told me I as a bad driver, told me I was wrong about 20 times and yelled at me trying to make jokes. He was a freak! I was scared to get into the car and didn't even let me test drive it cause he said "I need to experience it from the passenger seat. IM BUYING THE CAR SO I CAN DRIVE IT NOT BE A PASSENGER. Any how besides him its a low rate used car dealer ship. the pit boss was the worst. I heard him talking to another dealer about lying to another customer and making money. It made me sick. GO ELSE WHERE! More

This was a great car buying experience for me. I am a recent college grad who was looking for something reliable and affordable. I have always heard cars from the dealership are more expensive, but I don't think I could have found a deal like this if I searched craigslist/AutoTrader/etc for months. And they helped me finance it at a lower interest rate than my bank would have. Anytime I pop back in at Perry the team remembers my name- a sign of great customer service. More

The staff at Perry Ford, were more than generous with us. We came in looking for a 4 door truck, but left with a SUV, that still met our needs. They also threw in a gift certificate to Babies R US, so we could get a carseat for our new(used) car! They were very easy going, attentive and we never felt like we were being taken advantage of. We felt like an important customer throughout our transaction. I had never been to Perry Ford before, and would now recommend it to anyone looking to buy a car. More
I absolutely recommend Perry's to everyone looking for a vehicle in Santa Barbara or in the surrounding area. The Staff and all the workers at Perry's really and truly care about the customer. My son needed a car and also needed to have it on Credit to help him grow as a young man in his credit status. Also he only had a certain amount that he could pay each month. Roberto Sanchez, worked with us for over 2 weeks prior by texting me and emailing. So much so we really became good friends. By the time we went to Perry's auto company we felt very much part of the Perry family and trusted them. They had to do a real lot for us because my son being young didnt have much credit history. Perry's did so much to help us leave their lot with a brand new Mazda 2. Thank You so much Tom Zimmerman and a huge thank you to the Financial Expert and Director Mani Sarani who we couldnt have driven out of the lot with a brand new car without his undying expertise and willingness to go the extra for our family. That was March 26th. Then yesterday I had to take my daughter to Perrys for a car because her car was totaled in a car accident. Due to no credit again and credit history we were concerned. But thanks to Perry's determination and love of people and their dreams our daughter was able to drive out of their lot with a car and she is on the road to a successful credit history. Oh and just to let you know too; Perry's go the extra mile to send you out of their Lot not only with a car but with a lovely thoroughly clean car! Used or brand new and stand by their warranty's! All the workers of Perry's go over board to make sure their customers are happy! My experience was amazing and the best I have ever had dealing with car dealerships. I have bought over 5 or 6 cars in my life time and never felt so comfortable and happy with a dealership. Thank you so much. My first dealing with Perry was to purchase my first car from a dealership. Jerry the salesman who had plenty of awards on his desk talked me into a black Ford Fusion. My then fiance asked if the car was a rental car and Jerry told him he didn't think so. Turns out the car was definitely a rental car complete with all of the problems that come with purchasing a used rental car. After owning the car for 5 years and spending a couple thousand dollars replacing parts and sensors that conveniently fell outside of the extended warranty I purchased with the car I decided to trade it in. Knowing I would not deal with Perry again I went elsewhere. I went back to Perry with the paperwork to receive a refund for the remaining funds from my extended warranty and gap insurance. I met with Mani Serani in the finance department to fill out the paperwork. I did not have the original service agreement so I was told to fax it to him the following day. After faxing the paperwork I sent an email asking him to confirm that he received it. After send two additional emails and leaving a voice message Mani emailed me almost a week later. The content of the email was condescending at best telling me the process was started. I was to expect the first check to arrive in the second week of April and the second after that. On the third week of April I emailed Mani to check in because it was a week past the expected date. True to form he has still not replied. I called the companies handling the claims and was told the funds had been sent to the dealership over 2 weeks ago. The other company (the one needing the follow up paperwork) had not received anything from Perry. I faxed the paperwork and claim form over and again tried to contact Mani, no call back. Today, April 22, I called the dealership and asked to speak with Mani's supervisor Walter Alfaro. This must be where Mani aquired his callback skills because he has not returned a call either. The service department issue at Perry happened when my husband took his car in for a service at 20,000 miles. When he went to pick the car up the dealership charged him for a 60,000 mile service considerably more because of extra work they supposedly did. Istead of a bill of less than $100 like we expected they charged over $600. We took the car to a mechanic because we suspected the work had not been done and wasn't needed. Of course it was obvious belts etc had not been changed. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone and cannot wait until I never have to deal with them again. More
