I came in to have my 2012 Rav 4 serviced and while I was waiting I decided to look around and seen the 2013 Rav 4 that is on display in the show room and I decided to browse the lot. Made appointment within a week. I was greeted as I pulled in and was able to quickly check in. Then took my two kids up to MVP Lounge where I did not have my card but the hostess was able to quickly look me in and was able to quickly check in. Jerome Toole was very responsive to all my questions and concerns. Charlie checked in the car and also did the pick-up and he made sure that I had all the receipts and information necessary for any warranty issues. I was very pleased with the whole process. They made the accident situation much more bearable. I'd recommend Legacy to anyone. I also purchased a car there in 2006 and was pleased with that experience and the subsequent services as well. We moved to Tallahassee from Orlando approximately 8 1/2 years ago and owned three Toyotas at the time. We had all of our cars serviced at the Legacy dealership and were very happy to find a dealership th years ago and owned three Toyotas at the time. We had all of our cars serviced at the Legacy dealership and were very happy to find a dealership that we trusted here. Since we keep our cars on average about 10-11 years, we like to buy sturdy dependable products and have always found Toyotas to fit the bill. My Camry was one of 7 or 8 Toyotas that we purchased over the years. Legacy Toyota is on the opposite side of town from where we live in Tallahassee and after several years, we decided to use local mechanics for regular maintenance. Unfortunately, I allowed a local garage to replace the hoses on my 2003 Camry that had only 75,000 miles on it, only to find out too late that they had installed them incorrectly and totally damaged the engine on my car. Mr. Blackburn, your employee in the service department, has looked after us for so many years, and he was truly sad to inform me that my car was badly damaged and the repairs would be between $5,500 to $7,500 to rebuild the engine and repair the damage done. After the initial shock, my husband and I decided that it was not worth taking the chance of putting so much money in an 11-year old car and we decided to purchase a car instead. Joe Manning worked with us without pressure to find a vehicle for me. He was so professional and very sensitive to the fact that we were not really in the mood to shop for a car and didn't know if we even wanted to purchase one that day. I really appreciated his calm and considerate attitude, since I am usually the one who gets a very defensive attitude when shopping for a car. I hate the process and was really relieved to have such a thoughtful person guiding us through the decision-making. My husband owned a real estate company in Orlando for over 30 years, so he is very good at the negotiating process and doesn't take it as personally as I do. It was raining outside that evening and extremely cold, but we persevered and found a 2013 RAV-4 XLE that we both liked. Having driven it for only two days, I haven't had time to even explore all of the gadgets, dials, and special features yet. I really like the vehicle so far. It doesn't ride a smoothly as my Camry XLE, but it very attractive and I feel really safe and cozy. I can't wait to take it on the open road to test it out. Your staff is exceptional and were very responsive and genuine. I think you have a valuable asset in them and I will have to say that Mr. Blackburn will be seeing every one of our Toyotas for regular maintenance and any other reason for service from now on, even if the dealership is on the other side of town. It is not worth taking a chance on any other garage for service. This was a very valuable lesson. Thank you for making this experience a pleasurable one! More

Specifically, after two days of negotiation, Benny, promised us $0 cash down on a 2014 Camry (with the down payment instead included in the loan), which we agreed to. Immediately before signing the documents, however, we confirmed with Benny once more that we were getting $0 cash down. Two days after we purchased the vehicle, we got a call from the dealership stating that we owed a $1,000 cash down-payment. Unfortunately, as we signed the paper work, we were obligated to pay the down-payment. When my wife brought this issue to Benny, he stated that he had no memory of the aforementioned $0 cash down agreement. When pushed further, he proceeded to treat my wife in a very unprofessional manner. Not only did he raise his voice to my wife, he also treated her like she was stupid and gave her looks that were unbecoming of a sales professional. Benny only calmed down when my wife asked to speak to someone else. He attempted to persuade her not to; however, she was persistent in her request and was fortunately able to speak to Vinnie who apparently had a greater sense of professional integrity in that he actually treated my wife with respect. I would advise that if you do business with Legacy Toyota, don’t do it with Benny. Finally, we brought this issue to the attention of the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) and recommend that anyone else who has had an issue with Legacy Toyota do the same. P.S., Vinnie and Erik were great to deal with. They were friendly and professional. More
