⭐ 1 Star — Routine Service Shouldn’t Feel Like a Sales Ambush Every routine service visit here seems to come with a brand-new “mysterious issue” that somehow needs immediate attention—and a healthy dose Ambush Every routine service visit here seems to come with a brand-new “mysterious issue” that somehow needs immediate attention—and a healthy dose of skepticism. Over time, I’ve been told I needed things like a new battery, a radiator flush, brakes, and other repairs. What’s particularly interesting is that the same concerns seem to be making the rounds among other customers in the waiting room, often delivered by men with clipboards. Even more interesting? Some of these supposedly urgent problems have a remarkable ability to self-heal. The brakes apparently heal themselves, because on a later visit they’re suddenly fine. The battery issue disappears. Apparently my vehicle is capable of diagnosing and repairing itself between service appointments. Toyota should really look into this technology. Today’s experience was the final straw. I was told that my warranty would be voided if I didn’t pay $250 for a radiator flush at 58,000 miles and eight years of ownership. That raised an obvious question: why is this supposedly mandatory now when Toyota’s maintenance information indicates a 100,000-mile or 10-year interval? I’m all for maintaining a vehicle properly. I’m also all for legitimate recommendations based on the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule and the actual condition of the vehicle. What I’m not interested in is being pressured into expensive services with threats about warranty coverage—especially when the dealership’s own previous recommendations seem to mysteriously disappear on subsequent visits. At this point, going in for routine maintenance feels less like servicing a car and more like playing “What Expensive Problem Did We Discover Today?” If you value transparency, consistency, and recommendations you can actually trust, I would strongly suggest getting a second opinion before agreeing to any “required” service here. My car apparently has fewer problems than this dealership does. More
Disappointed with the lack of communication and aggressive communication style on selling additional services. I agreed to a radiator flush or forfeit the remainder of my family plan. The customer aggressive communication style on selling additional services. I agreed to a radiator flush or forfeit the remainder of my family plan. The customer service rep came to me later and said the front brake pads and rotors were bad and told me what it would have cost if I would have replaced the pads on the previous service. The previous rep. never indicated the pads were bad. I have my doubts as to the accuracy of that statement because 75% of the miles traveled since the last service was interstate travel. I approved the new pads and rotors anyway. I did not check the invoice until several days later and noticed that they also provide several other services that I did not approve. My final costs was $967.83 (about $300 of additional services not approved). I trust people too much and should have challenged my final bill before paying. However, rest assure that they just lost a great customer. More
Disappointed with the lack of communication and aggressive upselling here. I explicitly declined several recommended services via their phone notification system, only for the staff to pressure my aggressive upselling here. I explicitly declined several recommended services via their phone notification system, only for the staff to pressure my wife into approving them anyway. We walked out with a $500 bill for work I had just refused. To make matters worse, the service manager completely dismissed my concerns. Unprofessional management and predatory sales tactics. Avoid. -00000/10 i would recommend. Don’t take your car there because they will try to make you pay for stuff you don’t need and try to take you off the family plan . I’ve been coming t Don’t take your car there because they will try to make you pay for stuff you don’t need and try to take you off the family plan . I’ve been coming to them faithfully to get my car serviced for 3 plus years and now they want to take me off the family plan. I should’ve been wrote a review on Jessica but i was giving her some grace. They had me waiting on an oil change for over 2 hours and i had to come and check on my car….come to find out , she had been at her desk chit chatting and didnt even give my paperwork to the technicians. She had to end up giving me a free service that day. Save you some time and don’t get your car serviced there. I purchased a great car from there but i will take my services elsewhere. Thank you . Did you know that the 2018 Rav-4 comes with a locking lugnut? Neither did I until my daughter had a flat 60 miles from home and called me. There was no key anywhere in the car to unlock the lugnut, and t lugnut? Neither did I until my daughter had a flat 60 miles from home and called me. There was no key anywhere in the car to unlock the lugnut, and that Toyota dealership was the only one who ever worked on the wheels and tires. I had to have the car towed to the dealership on Saturday and wait until they opened today. Today, I spoke in person to the service manager. Do you think he cared. Nope. Said I bought it when it was Fred Anderson and not Peter Boulware. I had to pay for a replacement key. He was going to charge me to change the tire, and he tried to sell me a new set of tires. I was mad on Saturday because my daughter was left in an unsafe situation. Today I'm just disgusted, with the service manager, his attitude and audacity. I bought the lugnut key (the parts guy was very nice and understanding). Changed the tire on Peter Boulware's lot and left. Peter Boulware Toyota will never service that Rav-4 again, and I will never buy a Toyota or spend another dime with them. Ever. Another (local) business is getting my money for a set of tires and an alignment. So go find another job, customer service is not your calling. More
While the dealership in beautiful. Will kept facility, as well sell reps do a wonderful job in showing a vehicle. Ive witnessed buying a car multiple times. The managers that come out Will kept facility, as well sell reps do a wonderful job in showing a vehicle. Ive witnessed buying a car multiple times. The managers that come out with numbers, if you get them from this dealership have some of the worst attitude in the world. They are rude, condescending, horrible towards the sales reps, and dont listen to them. The one ive been put with seems to be grumpy from seven dwarves as he is mad at all times. Doesn't like to be bothered for anything. And is the worst of them all. If it wasn’t for the sales rep i would have walked and found another dealership More
