Shopper beware, I recently had a service experience at Petersons Chevy Service that left me feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated. Not only did they overcharge me for the diagnostic fee, but their Petersons Chevy Service that left me feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated. Not only did they overcharge me for the diagnostic fee, but their labor rates were outrageously inflated. During my visit on May 18th, I brought my vehicle in for the diagnosis of a check engine light for traction control. I was shocked when I received the estimate and noticed the exorbitant labor charges. To install 2 parts valued at just under $30, It was over $700 in labor fees. The Internet says average repair for parts and labor in this situation should range between $200 and $400. The diagnostic charge was $185 and nothing was done. It was clear that Petersons Chevy Service was taking advantage of their customers by overcharging for the install of parts. To make matters worse, I compared their labor rates with several other reputable service centers in the area, and it became evident that Petersons Chevy Service was charging significantly more for the same services. This is completely unjustifiable and reflects poorly on their business practices. They also left me with no choice, but to pay the over inflated diagnostic charge not having any repairs done to get my vehicle back. I urge anyone considering utilizing Petersons Chevy Service to be cautious and aware of their excessive labor rates. It is important to shop around and research other options to ensure fair and reasonable pricing. I hope that Petersons Chevy Service takes this review seriously and reevaluates their labor rates to provide customers with fair and transparent pricing. Until then, I cannot recommend their services to anyone seeking honest and reasonably priced vehicle repairs. Please beware of the inflated labor rates at Petersons Chevy Service, as it is clear they prioritize profit over customer satisfaction and fair business practices. More
Between Aiden at The Value Lot and Peterson's Cadillac service department with David Leon I had the absolute worst experience ever. The Value Lot sold me a vehicle that would not pass emissions which is i service department with David Leon I had the absolute worst experience ever. The Value Lot sold me a vehicle that would not pass emissions which is illegal. The sister company Peterson's Cadillac service department was supposed to do the repairs and fought the whole process kicking and screaming very unprofessional and condescending. When the problem was discovered to be too big of a repair they just washed their hands of any responsibility and sent me on my way with a unregisterable vehicle. 10k gone.....like that. Aiden the Manager said I'm sorry but you have to leave now. Wow this is unreal. Customers are at risk with this company. More

Went up there that night took a picture of the price sheet in window. When we arrived to take deliver, the price sheet had been changed and was $3,000 more (good thing I had picture of old one). Pickup did not have the options we wanted. Ordered Z71, asked about Rancho shocks that were supposed to be on it. They said they were only on the back, we went back and forth, then I just gave up. Take it in for the first oil change and have recall to install correct front shock. Take in for recall and they sold our parts to someone else and told us it was our fault! I would never recommend Peterson Chevrolet. Keep asking to speak with a Peterson and keep getting sent to the "general manager" who can not do anything. They want to "make it right" take this pickup back and give us our money back and we will go to another Chevrolet dealer and order one. Paid cash for the pickup. Worse purchase of our lives. More
Got to write this review for David Leon who is Paramount at his wisdom and dependability. In Peterson Cadillac and Chevrolet service department. As he went over and beyond to help with my 2018 Equinox that had a water leak in the antenna. Not only did they fix the leak he was able to work it out on the extended warranty. And it doesn't stop there as I needed to return for a little extra work on the car. He was right there to help and went over and beyond by using every means he could to complete the work needed. And it came back awesome. I'm very pleased with the friendly Speedy service I received. Thank you David Leon 👍 More

This is a rating for car service only. I wanted to make an appointment because car has issues with accelerator. I talked to Meghan who could not care less. They do not take appointment aft I wanted to make an appointment because car has issues with accelerator. I talked to Meghan who could not care less. They do not take appointment after 3pm. I asked if I could drop it off on my lunch and take the shuttle. Meghan could not tell me if shuttle could take me back home on time. Did not bother looking at the list of people taking shuttle. I then asked if there was a risk of waiting to check on my car accelerator as they could only make appointment 12 days from now. She didn"t know either and that was the end of conversation. Terrible service. I will end up going somewhere else again. More
My brother was there 6. 22.22 for a oil change , they texted him ready he walked out to service desk and got paperwork . So he stated calling service desk never got anyone to call him Thursday he called and called finally got Craig (I think) he sad paperwork said car had a leak… he asked why no one came out to ask him if he wanted to leave it or bring it back. So Thursday afternoon someone drove down to Caldwell to pick it up. Friday they said they had to order parts so now he didn’t have car for long weekend . Then it turns out it was a front oil leak even though he saw no oil in garage. They bought car yesterday 11 days later with no calls of progress with repairs. My brother took car in clean guy bringing home to him didn’t wash before drove it to him… the service manager had to get involved because of no communication from service department . More
