From the time I stepped on the lot Josh C. was there to greet me and help with the purchase of my new-to-me Avalon. There weren't any hybrids on the lot but he didn't stop there. Peterson sales rep, Tony Peck stayed with me for the past few months and I appreciate his persistence because he recently found an allocated Tacoma Limited and I paid MSRP. The chip shortage has hurt everyone, especially car sales in the past year. No doubt the lots have a dearth of inventory. Some dealerships are recuperating losses with strategies that prey on desperate buyers and apply euphemistic terms like ‘market adjustment’ and ‘mark up.’ When the global crisis ends and it will end, people will remember the dealerships who took advantage of potential customers and avoid patronizing them. They will also remember the dealerships that resisted such undignified practices and will take their business there. More

I bought a used car from Peterson (For $40,000 and less than 80,000 miles on it). I drove it barely two weeks and there was a cracked head gasket. The car never over heated no lights came on nothing. I only realized there was something wrong when it started leaking. I had it towed to Peterson. The service guy that I dealt with was very nice. Thankfully I got the warranty and it has covered most of the cost, but not all of it. I had to pay more than my monthly payment to get my car back. I’m very frustrated that this wasn’t covered. It also took them two months to fix it. More
