I have been a customer of Phillips Buick for At least 7 years. The people that I have dealt with have been of the utmost professionalism. This car buying experience was truly refreshing. We were in and out in 1.5 hours! Friendly staff. But wasted $155 on a diagnostic that told me nothing but what I already knew. I needed to know the root of the problem. On the phone was told my entire car needed rewired they found burnt wires. It wasn’t safe to drive. Abs I needed a new car.. So I sent gieco my insurance company there to access the vehicle and gieco was told normal wear and tear that the speakers were blown and I needed a new radio…. $9200 quote to fix… but why does my alarm go off while driving down the road. Why do my turn signals stop working. Why is there smoke coming from the dash board..? All I was told is your speakers and radio need replaced.. what’s the root of the problem.. ? and when I asked that I was told we didn’t pull anything apart, all we did was hook the vehicle up to our computer and it wouldn’t stay connected. None of this was told to me until I went to the dealership with a friend who knows about cars and called the service advisor out.. I was ripped off for $155 and lied to. I wasn’t going to write a review or leave a complaint but I have gotten multiple messages for feedback.. so here ya go.. I’m an easy going person. I don’t like to complain.. but I trusted Phillips Buick with my Buick lacarosse and was lied to and tired they tried take advantage of my lack of knowledge of cars.. my vehicle was towed to the service department on March 25 and it was after business hours that my vehicle was towed there so I did a new expects them to get my vehicle until Monday the 28th. I called every day to check on my car, and I was told it was going to take a while to figure out what the problem was but it was in the shop and they were working on it. I finally got an answer from Zack my service advisor the following Friday at. That’s when I was giving the $9200 quote repair the radio and speakers. And when I questioned him on why they did not know the root of the problem he said a one hour long diagnostic will not find a wiring issue. If a one hour long diagnostic was not going to find my issue then why did he have my car in the shop on Monday but I not get a return phone call until Friday. I feel as if he was looking for the commission on that $9200 quote he gave me or someone was going to try and sell me a new car. I don’t quite understand the amount of time it took to not find The root of the problem. I was ripped off for $155 I feel because I don’t feel like your service department adequately look at my vehicle. It was the pass the buck Type situation. I am very dissatisfied. Zack did always treat me with respect and was very kind. Along with all of your other staff were always very kind and courteous. But as far as diagnosing my car working on my car I am highly dissatisfied More
