Service Work is always performed correctly. Customer waiting area could use updating. Prefer this service department over a much closer Honda service department. More

We had problems with our wheels and oil filter after a poor job from another service station. Piazza Honda fixed everything quickly and my car is back to normal. I will be using them instead from now on. More

The service was substandard at best. Was charged one hour of labor to diagnose an O2 sensor issue. The O2 sensor is an original equipment spec Denso, specifically made for the car. Th More

Piazza Honda of Reading responded

Thanks for your review. We were able to pull the records only to discover that the exhaust had been modified and 2 aftermarket sensors were installed and not working properly. To put the exhaust back into original condition and installing to correct oem sensors would have been and still is the proper next step. As for the filter replacement, you failed to mention that your airflow was restricted and our recommendation and price for repair includes having to remove the blower motor, remove debris from the ductwork and THEN install a new filter. The headlight assemblies can be adjusted but the aftermarket bulbs installed into the assemblies are incorrect and direct light through the lenses incorrectly and disperse the light instead of concentrating it on the road ahead of you. adjusting the bulbs will not assist with where the beam directs with the improper lights and housings. We are sorry you don't see value in the professional recommendations we offer and would be willing to explain and show you again of how the car should be repaired.

Thank you for your response. As much as I would like take a technicians advise as gospel, I too must question the validity and applicability of their recommendations. The error codes demonstrated in ODBII show a P0134 O2 Circuit High Voltage No Activity, NOT the P0420 or P0430 for Cat inefficiency. Besides monitoring both the downstream 02 sensors, they both show cat efficiency fluctuating readings within recommended range of between 0 and 1.275 volts. Unfortunately the Upstream sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1 flatlines at 0.031mah after approximately 10 minutes of running time, while all other sensors (3 of them) show no deviation at all. As for the O2 sensors you mention that are "Aftermarket" you are referring Denso O2 devices, which is at the same if not better performance rating than the NTK that Honda sells as OEM. Denso O.E Spec O2 Sensor Parts: 234-5098 Upstream O.E. Quality Direct Fit Replacement Sensor 234-4461 Downstream O.E. Quality Direct Fit Replacement Sensor These sensors are specific to the 2011 Honda Accord v6 and not a "universal" type sensor that may not be inline with what may be required. If you would like recorded live data readings of the cars o2 sensors performance I can provide that for you as well. There was no reason for the technician to recommend full cat replacement along with new O2 sensor for the cost of almost $4000. As for the o2 Spacer that was installed for testing purposes, that will not throw off readings to the point of causing them to flatline. The issue we are experiencing with the upstream o2 existed prior to the spacer install you call "Exhaust Modification". As for the AC fan speed issue, flow was never an issue in customer statement. It was stated that fan speed, when in AUTO, ramps down in speed long before the inside temp is met. There never was or is any evidence of clogged ducts. I performed the in cabin filter replacement less than 30 days ago, and I can assure you there was no "debris" you mentioned. I don't see an hour plus necessity for top 15 minutes worth of work. Takes me less to be honest. As for the after market LEDs you mentioned, Sylvania LEDs were used in lieu of the OEM halogen which are not as bright. Sylvania is a pioneer in light manufacturing and confident that their fitment tolerances are within OEM specs. If the bulb was installed incorrectly or lopsided then the technician should have been able to easily reinsert and lock in the bulb. Low Beam Sylvania Part: SYLVANIA 9006 LED Powersports Bulb. In conclusion, as I do believe there is value in having the professionals perform the work as established by the manufacturer and within their specifications, I don't believe you have provided sufficient evidence for the recommended service tasks beside making generalizations and padding the overall cost. If you can provide evidence that in fact the Catalytic converter on a 65k mile car is bad, the O2 30 day old O2 sensor are not working, the air ducts of the climate system is clogged, which I verified, the bulbs are just wobbly in the housings, and my car does in fact need a 4 wheel alignment after I had one 3 months ago, then I'll simply surrender my inquiries and will consider the work you proposed. Until then I cannot accept generalizations for evidence. This reply is not intended to offend or diminish your response, as I feel you do believe in what you say. But from where I stand you and your technician should sit down and have serious conversation over Morality and Ethics on the job. Sincerely, Antonino Pitruzzella
