While I still love my Lincoln almost 3 years later, for the first time in those 3 years, I am HIGHLY disappointed with the service I received from Pines Ford Lincoln. I went in for my 75k service, and I d the first time in those 3 years, I am HIGHLY disappointed with the service I received from Pines Ford Lincoln. I went in for my 75k service, and I don't know if it is because I no longer get free oil changes (that part of my warranty has expired) or what. However, I was given a ridiculous recommendation, and I am unhappy about it. They came back with a list of things I "needed." Now I am all for maintenance. However, don't be a shady operation and try to sell me stuff I DO NOT NEED. The list of what I "needed" included brakes ($279+), cabin and fuel filters ($139+), and four brand new tires ($1300+). My issue is with these tires because I know that the body shop installed two new tires back in August of 2021. So there is NO WAY I need FOUR new tires. I was told it was because they were wearing unevenly and I buying one tire was a waste of money, and I should go ahead and make the investment, so they all wear the same. Somehow, the mechanic who made the recommendation never sent over the inspection report, which is a good thing because that meant my service rep had to do the tread test in my presence. He showed me the gauge and told me that anything in "green" represents a new/relatively new tire, "yellow" was starting to wear, "red" was bald. As we went around my car, all of my tires showed "GREEN," except for one that had just hit "yellow" (mind you, it is the tire that has a nail in it). So I looked at him and asked, "So now why am I buying FOUR new tires?" I told him, "I won't be doing that." I told him I would come back and replace the tire with the nail and get an alignment to address the issue of the tires being worn unevenly. Now why in the world wouldn't the recommendation have been for me to replace the tire and get an alignment? I do not like when dealerships try to take advantage of people! Lincoln, I am highly disappointed, and you will have to earn my trust back for this to go back to a 5-star rating. You may be wondering why this isn't a 1-star rating. Well, that's because I love my Lincoln, and the service rep that checked me in was very honest and kind, and they got me in and out without an appointment. More
