Lost appointment info, No parts in stock, When I called to follow up on an online request for an appointment, there was no record of my submission. So I gave the information again, over the phone and asked for an appointment time. When I arrived at the dealership my first contact was with Tina who was abrupt to the point of rudeness. I asked the next employee, a service writer, if there was a record of my call or the submission, he went in the office to check. The Manager chose to deliver the bad news to me with an offense-is-the-best-defense attitude, which was unimpressive. There was no record of my call or online submission. After getting my car into their system, I asked that my husband be called with the results of the diagnostics. The service writer said they would call me, refusing my request. My husband called them. Eventually they figured out the problem but didn't have the parts, spark plugs & coil, in stock. They refused to expedite the delivery of the parts despite knowing I would be stranded 2.5 hours from home for the remainder of the weekend if the parts didn't arrive the next day (Saturday). Jed was pleasant to work with or the rating would have been lower. This was my second experience with Planet Dodge's Service Department. More

My "clean" car's A/C broke, but the dealer fixed it. I purchased a "clean" 2010 Chevrolet Equinox (102,000 miles). I flew into Arizona from Chicago to start a new job. I didn't schedule a 3rd party mec I purchased a "clean" 2010 Chevrolet Equinox (102,000 miles). I flew into Arizona from Chicago to start a new job. I didn't schedule a 3rd party mechanic (my fault). As I was SIGNING the papers, the salesman informed me that the vehicle has been subjected to hail damage. It was minor...but I should have taken this as a clue. The car's A/C stopped working in less than 1,500 miles...probably their mechanic's refrigerant leaked out of the hole in the A/C line. Did the company fix the leak? Yes, but I needed to contact the Better Business Bureau. Would I purchase another vehicle from this dealer? Yes, but I would have the car inspected by mechanic. Would I recommend this dealer to another person? Yes, but with reservations. More
Helped an out of tower stay on the road! Our 2010 Ram 2500 diesel had the "check engine" light on all the way from Vancouver, Washington to Flagstaff . I called the dealership from the road Our 2010 Ram 2500 diesel had the "check engine" light on all the way from Vancouver, Washington to Flagstaff . I called the dealership from the road and spoke with Dave in the service department. He told me to bring the truck in for a scan as soon as I hit town. After scanning the truck codes he told me the EGR valve was most likely the culprit, but it should be ok, just keep an eye on it and bring it back if the truck started losing power. Sure enough it did, and Dave took the truck into the service department immediately. They diagnosed the trouble, sure enough, the EGR, had it shipped in over night from Los Angeles and had my truck back to me in another days time. During this entire time, I was under pressure to get the truck repaired a sap as I had vacation reservations elsewhere in the west. I "bugged" Dave a lot about the timing of the repair. During this entire time he was calm, gracious and understanding of my desire to get the truck repaired quickly. Bottom line, they got the job done on time for a reasonable price and no drama whatsoever! Rare to find folks like Dave and the Planet staff these days. NEVER AGAIN! DO NOT GO HERE! I had a 2012 Jeep Wrangler that I kept taking in for service due to a check engine light. Everytime I took it in, they kept saying "It DO NOT GO HERE! I had a 2012 Jeep Wrangler that I kept taking in for service due to a check engine light. Everytime I took it in, they kept saying "It just needs a software update." After taking it in about 3 times, they finally realized the heads had to be replaced. So I traded it in for a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. I had it for 17 days and the transmission messed up while I was in Phoenix. I called Planet and explained to them what was going on, and they said "It might need a software update." REALLY?!?!? A brand new vehicle needing a software update?!?! I ended up taking it to Bill Luke in Phoenix, turns out I need to replace the transmission. I had to put up a fight with the Chrysler coporation, as they weren't going to provide me with a Loaner/Rental. This has really put a burden on my holiday travels. I will never take my vehicle to Planet, nor will I ever recommend them! THEY ARE NOT EVEN ACCREDITED WITH THE B.B.B. More
