Planet Nissan - Service Center

I was informed my vehicle needed additional work to include replacement of cracked shock/suspension bushings and replacement of the drive belt that was reported to be dry and cracking. I took my vehicl include replacement of cracked shock/suspension bushings and replacement of the drive belt that was reported to be dry and cracking. I took my vehicle to another mechanic for a second opinion on the recommended services noted by this dealership and that mechanic showed me those items listed as "critical" repairs were not needed. He took photos under my car of the bushings and compared them to the photos uploaded by Nissan's service department; the mechanic was certain the photos shared by Nissan were not of my vehicle. Mine are not nearly as worn and damaged as the ones provided by Nissan in their list of items requiring "immediate attention." I was also shown my drive belt by this other mechanic and it is in no way dry nor is it cracking anywhere. I am infuriated the dealership would make up work that is not needed and charge over $2500 to complete it. I will never return to this dealership for service work nor to purchase another vehicle and I am sharing my experience widely for everyone I know to be aware of the predatory nature of this business!
