Amazing experience with VW This will be my third VW and I really have to say everything keeps getting better. I went there with a specific number in mind and I worked with Joe ( who is literally BEYOND exceptional). He went above and beyond for me. He worked with me and gave me exactly what I wanted, in fact, he actually did even BETTER than what I wanted ( when does that happen?!) Joe did exactly what he promised and more. NO LAST MINUTE SURPRISES! I walked out of there feeling like I was on cloud nine. The whole process was PAINLESS and smooth. Within an hour documents were signed, insurance was called, new plates on, and I walked out with a NEW car. They were so efficient. I couldn't believe that I would walk into a dealership and within an hour I would be walking out with a new car. They were so fair in working with me. It was such a pleasant and wonderful experience. I can't thank joe and the team at VW enough. I highly recommend them! I am certain that if you go there they will do their very best to work with your wants and needs, and I guarantee you will walk out MORE than satisfied. The honesty, efficency, and integrity at VW is unlike any other dealership. It is truly exceptional. Looking forward to going back when the time comes again! BOTTOM LINE: fast, easy, painless. Bad experience if the car is not on the lot. Be very wary if the car is not on the lot and they say they will locate a vehicle and then run into delays. I heard the same excuse for over 2 weeks. Be very wary if the car is not on the lot and they say they will locate a vehicle and then run into delays. I heard the same excuse for over 2 weeks. I also learned this dealership has a poor relationship with other VW dealerships in the area. So if Platinum says they cannot locate a vehicle for you, then check the main VW site for your build and verify the accuracy of their statement. This knowledge is firsthand based on experience with Platinum and another local VW dealership burned by Platinum numerous times. On the other side, Joe Riccobene and Howard try very hard to be reputable; they get 5-stars for being the ying (good) to Platinum's yang (bad). It's Platinum's process and relationships across their supply chain that stinks. The owner, Josh, needs to have things his way to generate win-win with his customers. That's not how it works. If the vehicle is in stock the odds of running afoul of Josh are pretty low. They'll take your deposit in 15 seconds, but closing on all refunds takes anywhere from 1 week to 2 months. First time we bought here, second time, the Sales person we talked to (from this dealership) did not want to work with us, so we bought elsewhere. We returned, however, because we were nearby. Lucky for us, the last guy was gone, and Joe took care of us! We will always return to this location for future purchases and ask for Joe R. If not, hopefully the other Dealers will learn from Joe, that when you have a loyal VW owner, you truly do everything you can to retain that relationship and work together so everyone feels good about the purchase.
