I try to take as many steps as I can to be a productive and responsible person, while still acknowledging my weaknesses. With that being said, there are many things that I still struggle with. When handling business it is a must the person I am working with is honest and straight forward. Joey Lackovic was the individual who I was trusting, to not only help me get a new Acura, but to also help me trade in a very complex lease. I am pleased to say Joey not only earned my trust, but exceeded my expectations. Joey was my guide through the entire process from deal initiation to drive off. He returned my first email requests promptly , worked with the store GM (Lenny Gonzales) to get me out of my lease, matched out of state pricing, came in on his day off, got me top dollar for my trade, and insured I hit my payment goal. From the first email to putting on my new plates Joey was world class. There is not enough positive praise I can give the Pohanka Acura Team, from the gentleman (Mr. Guiterrez) that showed my wife and seven year old son to a private lounge to relax. To the finance manager (Ray Morton) who made sure the protection I wanted on the vehicle was affordable. I was a Cadillac man trading my 2015 Escalade for a 2016 MDX, I am now an Acura man, soon to trade my CTS V for an TLX. That being said, no matter what brand I choose I will now always stay with the Pohanka family. I will also share my experience with my local community and my online community. Great 2016 Acura Purchase Experience CJ ZHU was my sales Consultant and made the purchase at Pohanka Acura a very smooth transaction. After receiving a very good sales price, I ordered a 2016 RDX AWD Advance vehicle. CJ prepared all the necessary forms to complete the order. I was finished within an hour and received a tentative delivery date for the new vehicle. The vehicle arrived on time and CJ had everything ready to go by the time I arrived at the dealer. He had all additional documentation prepared for my signature, and after smoothly completing the financial aspects of the purchase, CJ installed the new tags on the car and it was ready to go. CJ provided an excellent overview of the systems within the car and assisted in setting up my SmartPhone for Bluetooth operation. I had a few questions relating to the vehicle and it's electronics and he was able to tell me everything I needed to know. Clearly, he has an excellent understanding of the product that he sells, and that is very important, since technology is moving at light-speed in the automotive industry. He suggested that I spend a few days with the car and then call him with any questions concerning it's operation. Finally, since I was a new customer to the Pohanka dealership, CJ brought me into the Service Center and introduced me to one of the Representatives, who provided an overview of Pohanka's Service operation. Within a few days, CJ phoned me to check in and see if there was anything else he could assist with concerning the car. He also told me he was available anytime in the future to provide assistance. The moment you walk in the door, you are greeted and someone is there waiting to assist you. There was a lot of people car shopping that day so I thought the speed was impressive. I came with a very unique situation and my salesperson, Joey Lackovic was more than helpful! He listened to my concerns, addressed my questions and informed me of every step throughout the process. He even transferred my things from my old car to my new car so all I had to do was adjust my seat and drive away. I received financing through Acura and I am very appreciative of the efforts from both Leah and Rob to make this process as painless as possible. Buying cars always stresses me and they both were very accommodating to my requests. Even though I was not being serviced directly by two other gentleman, I also appreciate Phillip 'Flip" Carleton and Jabrel Mines "words of encouragement". Va. the day before I spoke with Yong Kim. Just to look & maybe test drive an Acura. That was the second & last time I will ever go into a Hall dealership. They sure could take a lesson from Yong Kim at Pohanka Acura. Yong Kim was very very personable, & so patient with me.
