I recently purchased my 2014 Acura ILX from Pohanka Acura in Chantilly, and could not be more thrilled about my purchase and the overall experience given to me by Pohanka Acura and their sales and service te in Chantilly, and could not be more thrilled about my purchase and the overall experience given to me by Pohanka Acura and their sales and service teams. I was fortunate and had the great pleasure of working with Amir Seyedan - I cannot emphasize enough how confident, taken care of, satisfied, and excited I felt leaving Pohanka in my new Acura after working with Amir. Not only did Amir do his utmost to work with any pricing issues or comparisons I had, he made sure that I had a full understanding of what each cost meant and did everything he could to accommodate my desires with cost and financing. While Amir respected and upheld previously made appointments, he made sure I was well taken care of by another sales rep as well as making sure I was comfortable - encouraging the free snacks and refreshments be taken advantage of; a "Pohanka Picnic" as he called it :) I respected and appreciated this, as when it was my turn, I had his full attention. In my contemplation stage I was still not 100% sure how I felt about the whole deal, though they were giving me a GREAT one. Amir introduced me to the Sales Manager, another pleasant experience that lead to me having the ability to spend more time with the car - time, respect, and trust needed in order to solidify my feelings - no pressure, no worries. They even offered to give me a loaner car free of charge until my preferred vehicle arrived at the dealership so that I could return the loaner that was given to me by my insurance company - doesn't get any more "family" than that. After some pretty painless back and forth, I was given a deal I was completely happy with. With the money I ended up saving, I added a spoiler - Amir introduced me to the service writer (Katie Herrick) that would be overlooking the spoiler addition - Katie had it installed and turned around for detailing within an hour; I can only imagine the great service to come. Amir spent the last 10 minutes until closing and the next 40 minutes after closing making sure that I knew every single feature of the vehicle - taking his time, thoroughly explaining, and making sure I was comfortable - even wiping some barely noticeable smudges for his own sake as I was too thrilled to care or notice. My initial needs to buy a new car were not the greatest - an unfortunate accident, and a designated time period before my rental car cost would be out of pocket..pressure. I'm pretty practical in nature, so I explored Acura with a bit of hesitation. Pohanka was not one of the dealers that my USAA auto circle tool selected, but Pohanka appreciated and actually BEAT the USAA / TrueCar base value - a respect for those who served you hope every merchant has. Amir and the Pohanka Acura Sales and Service teams made me feel very comfortable, very confident, and very much like part of the Pohanka Acura Family. I could not be happier, and am very grateful that I was able to have such a great car buying experience despite the reason being due to not so great circumstances. Thank you Amir and Pohanka Acura!
