Inspection Sacm Don't go here for out of warranty service, especially and inspection!!!. I went to the service center for my 2002 TL Acura; that had the xxx light Don't go here for out of warranty service, especially and inspection!!!. I went to the service center for my 2002 TL Acura; that had the xxx light and my local mechanic advised all was good for inspection except the light. I thought it may have been related to a safety bag recall, that the dealership took care of with no problem back in October. I told the service technician that I am here to care for the xxx light on, yet he remained adamant about my inspection sticker; he advised me that if we find the xxx light tied back to a covered warranty then they would care for inspection and fix, removing the analysis fee. THIS IS WHERE THINGS WENT BAD! Good news is they fixed the light, but came back with a shopping list of issues that would prevent passing inspection. At this point I reminded him a third time not to do anything else but deal with the xxx light. Then he proceeds to tell me that they had already scrapped off the inspection sticker!!!!!!!! With no choice now I ran the issue past the "home team" manager and left there with a failed inspection sticker. I went right back to my local mechanic and handed him the list of failure reasons, only one was valid and was fixed with no charge. The rest of the "failure items" were determined false and I now have a car that passed inspection at no further charge. I would have paid close to 1K at Pohanka Acura!!!! They were out to scam me on a failed inspection. In my opinion they have committed a crime, I am sure this is done frequently!. I love Acura as a product; had a long run with a RSX and a current long run with a 2002 TL. I was actually in the sales department, while waiting for the analysis, pricing cars; well that is not happening now; especially at this dealership!!!!! More

We did our research and comparison shopped, and no one else came closer to the selection and price. We had the pleasure of dealing with Nicholas Shirley as our Sales Consultant. We made two trips, few weeks apart, to the dealership to make our purchase. During our first visit, Nicholas took the time to explain everything in detail about the car we were interested in. He made sure that we got all the information we wanted and needed in a no pressure environment. Nicholas followed up to provide more information, and let us take our time in making our decision over another vehicle from another maker. After we decided to go with an Acura, I reached out to Nicholas via email for a price quote, and we got the price within an hour. We made an appointment for the purchase, and when we got there the dealership honored the price on the model and trim. We just picked the colors because we were flexible on that part. The sales process was smooth and fast, Nicholas suggested few accessories for us to consider, which I compared online while I was sitting there and prices were competitive (You also have consider that items include installations and covered in warranty if you get it from the dealership), and we decided too add few things that we knew we wanted. Once we agreed on the final price, we dealt with the Finance Manager Ziad Rahme. Ziad was also very straight forward, and gave us an options on alternative finance options, extended warranty, and maintenance package. There was no pressure to take any of them, but we took both of them because we planned to keep the car as long as we can. We shopped for extended warranty before going to the dealership, and one they offer is a really good deal for the duration of the coverage. (We have definitely used them on our other vehicle) We also did the cost comparison on the maintenance package and it will save you money if you plan on having the car for at least four-years. Overall, the whole buying process took only little more than an hour, there was no hassles or surprises. I was very happy with the process, and would recommend Pohanka Acura and our Sales Consultant Nicholas Shirley to anyone. More

Nicholas Shirley spend several hours with me as I test drove multiple vehicles. He was patient, helpful, and knowledgeable about each of the vehicle's features. I didn't feel pressured, and also appreciated the time he spent with me after the purchase was complete to review the car's features. All of the other employees I dealt with at the dealership were also very professional and helpful. I highly recommend Nick and the dealership in general. More

Easy first new car purchase! Although they were busy on a holiday they didn't let on to be stressed and we weren't attacked by desperate sales people before the door closed. Preston Hill was our sales guy and he was so patient, polite and not pushy at all. He didn't trash other makes of cars or give false information to deter us from other makes (Unfortunately we experienced that elsewhere). He was sincerely appreciative for our business and that goes along way! The only reason we gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because we didn't like being surprised with the service contract and extended warranty once in the financing office when we thought everything was done but signatures. We were told now or never and the cost was over 4k for both. That's not an impulsive amount of money to spend in our household. After asking, we were told we could cancel if we changed our mind so we took it so we could actually think about it for a few days. Still deciding on that value but as for the car and Preston we are super pleased! More
