He followed up to provide all information when I initially contacted Pohanka via online chat and he followed up to meet me in person promptly and was very thorough and professional in his approach and in no time was able to offer me a very attractive price that also had the right package / options that we wanted in the RDX. When Shawn was busy he referred me to Phillip who was also very professional. Shawn was also very courteous and very thorough in his approach. My wife and I had a great experience and were very pleased with Shawn and the Pohanka Team. I have been to other dealerships but my experience at Pohanka Acura has been the best so far. We arrived earlier than expected but Yasir was very accommodating even though the dealership was not yet open. He was very personable and not at all pushy in his demeanor. He is outgoing and a pleasure to work with, which made our experience looking for a vehicle much more desirable than we had ever expected. Disappointing Problems 2 weeks after the sale. The initial sale process was handled by Shawn Walker, primarily through email and phone/text. His communication and efforts were awesome. However, 2 weeks and less than 200 miles after driving the 2011 Bmw with less than 33k miles, the check engine light came on. I contacted the dealership for advice. Even though the car has an extended warranty, it wouldn't cover the diagnostic fee. I didn't feel comfortable driving from Richmond to their service dept not knowing how serious the issue was, also not knowing if they could handle the issue, since they previously told me a service reminder could only be reset with a special tool only through BMW, when in actuality there were instructions in the manual on how to do it from the inside of the car. I was reminded how their 30 day warranty would only cover 50% towards the powertrain. I contacted the customer relations person in hopes of getting some type of resolution under the circumstances. I never heard back from that person, instead all responses came from the finance dept. Also during this time I made 3 contacts regarding the payoff of the vehicle traded and the registration of the newly purchased vehicle, I never received any calls back from the 3 different people of whom I was connected to their voice mail. The answers were finally and only received from the same contact with the finance dept when they responded back by email in regards to the mechanical issue with the car. I don't know if the experience would've been different if I purchased a brand new vehicle or their brand vehicle, but I definitely don't feel I received a high level of customer service after the sale. More

She was not too pushy and gave us information on the other brands of cars that we were potentially interested in so we could compare to the Acura. Our experience was better than at any of the other dealerships we visited that day. Hana helped us find our dream car! More
