Wally is Actually Superman I have bought numerous cars before from high-end sedans, customized SUV's, to standard CarMax purchases, and I have never encountered a sales person t I have bought numerous cars before from high-end sedans, customized SUV's, to standard CarMax purchases, and I have never encountered a sales person that I would recommend. Mostly I felt I needed a shower after dealing with the sales personnel, but Wally and Pohanka changed all that (mostly Wally). I felt that both the dealership and I got a good deal on the transaction and I can honestly say that Wally took great care in supporting us and providing service. I would happily recommend Wally to any and all friends that were interested in an Acura, and I would suggest they search him out if they want an Acura. I informed her I did not have a lot of time since I had two young kids at home and wanted to get right to the point if I was interested in the car. I decided I wanted the car and she went above and beyond to get me a price I was comfortable paying. Not only that she offered me a price on my car for trade in which I could not refuse. I was not planning on doing a trade in. She made the process simple and fast and made sure my new car was detailed to my liking. From the moment I first made contact with him on the phone, after conducting an extensive hunt for a well-priced fully loaded 2016 MDX SH-AWD Advance with Entertainment, I knew I had find an honest and fully engaged sales rep. We spent a lot of initial time on the phone, because the dealership was 200+ miles from my phone -- I had found the car on AutoTrader. Pohanka's price was dramatically better than anyone else's -- and I knew I'd best gobble that black-on-black '16 up -- because it was a steal. In numerous conversations with Philip he was transparents about everything - I didn't feel he was sandbagging me. Now I'm not stupid -- I know that the dealers WANT you to believe that you've done better than you have - and that there are holdbacks and other incentives which make them whole even when the price is low. But fundamentally, the pricing on the car was so rock solid that it didn't matter -- I felt they had a right to take something off the table. We did a trade-in. He worked hard to ensure that I got the same price offered to me that had been offered at another dealership, even though initially his used car evaluator was well below that number. On the day we showed up to pick up the MDX, it was almost funny -- he recognized me immediately - and we had an easy and fun time transacting the details of the purchase. He also did what others have not -- he went to great trouble to make sure we had genuine comfort with the car, and coached us in GREAT detail on the myriad systems. And finally, we got a follow-up call a couple of days later, wanting to be sure that we were satisfied and that all was right. He was entirely sincere -- this wasn't a kiss-off -- and when my wife had concerns about how her Samsung Bluetooth was working properly between the car and her Waze app, he took genuine interest in helping us resolve it. So - bottom line -- he's a great fellow, entirely affable and likeable -- and conducted himself with professionalism and warmth. We got a very fair deal from Pohanka. What more can you ask for? More

She took care of me and worked hard to get me what I wanted. Super sweet, a hard worker, and real cares about the customer. I got my last new Acura from another Dealer in the DC area and was not as happy with the assistance I received. I got my first one at Pohanka in the early 2000s so I went back to Pohanks. They are also where I historically have had all my service done as well and that is also a great experience. I was also looking as going American with a Chevy Malibu (which Phuong also helped me with since they are part of the Pohanka family) but ultimately decided on Acura after owning 3 of them 2 TLs and a TSX. I got the TLX this time with the Tech package. The Business and Finance side of it was super fast and efficient. Usually you sit with the Finance guy for an 45-60 minutes. I was out in 30! Love that! Great experience overall. More
