We needed our first nice, reliable, new car. We went to Pohanka knowing we wanted a Honda. But we also knew that being young and literally having NO credit what so ever was going to be rough. So in our search we found 2 vehicles, one we liked and one we REALLY liked. We knew when we first met Judaea Horn that she was committed and was going to take her time with us which meant a lot. After filling out the application and hours of crunching numbers and waiting we decided to go home and wait for a call from her. She called and said that she got us approved for our second choice which we weren't completely thrilled about. So we packed up and made our way to the dealership. We sat down with Judaea and she completely surprised us will exciting news! All that time she was doing everything she could to get us approved for the car we LOVED. She literally spent hours trying to work out anything she could because she knew that was the car we wanted. When all was said and done we were handed the keys to our new car that we love so much! Its exactly what we wanted and exactly the right person to get it from. We told her she need a raise for all the hard work she put into this. We were very impressed with her kindness and her want to help us and make sure we got what we wanted. She answered every phone call from me and made this experince so wonderful for my family and I. Now we have a safe new vehicle for our family. We will defiantly be seeing her in couple years for our second new car! Thanks so much Judaea your amazing!! More
Judaea was fantastic, not only was she extremely knowledgable but she went above and beyond in all aspects. She spent a great deal of time with me during my decision making process test driving mult knowledgable but she went above and beyond in all aspects. She spent a great deal of time with me during my decision making process test driving multiple vehicles, allowing me to do side by side comparisons and even went over the specs per model to determine the differences feature wise. I highly recommend Judaea to anyone whom is looking to buy a new car. She made my entire experience pleasurable and provided excellent follow up after my purchase to ensure I was satisfied.... Judaea took my call and I basically stated I am going to buy a car for my wife today, provided my criteria, advised I was not in the mood to haggle over prices as I was all the way at signing the night before and that I had a bank draft in hand. Judaea listen carefully, summarized my discussion and asked if she could consult with her sales manager and promised to call within 20 minutes with a potential offer. Less than 20 minutes later, she called, sent me a pic of the car, informed me that she personally sat in the vehicle and that it met all of my requirements and then some. I informed her that my wife and I would be on our way to see and potentially close the deal. Before arriving, Judaea asked for some of my administrative information and promised to have the paperwork ready for our arrival. In fact, she was confident enough that we would love the car that she sent the car to detail prior to our arrival. We arrived, the car was immaculate, took it for a test drive, accepted offer, breezed through signing and departed the dealership about an hour later! That is how you buy a car - that is how you earn respect and loyalty! This is where we will go to buy our future cars. While the other Honda dealership was in our local area (Woodbridge) - I will not mention any names as I believe this was a management issue - not a salesmanship problem, I would have driven 500 miles to get this sort of service! I have always been a proud Chevy/GMC consumer and look forward to expanding our horizon's in our like new Honda CRV EXL. At the end of the day, we ended up with a nicer car, less miles, several extras and a cheaper price backed by Pohanka's customer satisfaction commitment! Thanks Judaea - Thanks Pohanka! More
Bill Hamilton, has always been a true Asset to this dealership. My family and I have always purchased cars from Bill from Honda, because of Bill's professionalism, honesty and commitment to us as custo dealership. Bill, treats his customers with respect and understanding and does not treat you like you are just another sales number for him to meet. No one wants to be treated in that manner. This time round, I had received many calls from Honda starting in January regarding my soon to be purchase however because Bill was not there, I was very reluctant, I had no idea he would be coming back to Honda after having success elsewhere for a while. When he came back, my family and I felt that now was the time to go back to Honda, I was even thinking of trying another Make this time, not that there is anything wrong with Hondas, great cars, just because, when we go see Bill, we don't have to worry about ANYTHING! He takes care of it all. More

I have had my car serviced at Honda for years now, including my family and friends who buy from this dealership. No matter what day of the week, what hour, what they weather may bring! Michael is always very welcoming and helpful to all the customers who walk in. He always starts with a smile and ensures that he fully explains the service / work being done that day, what issues or future work may be needed and why as well as telling you if something is not needed at all for the moment, saving you money at the same time. He is always coming by and giving an update of where the service/work is during your visit so that you are aware of the time being spent on your car and what is being taken care of, while you work. The incredibly comfortable environment at this dealership, TV's, coffee, comfy chairs, kids playroom, ends up being a complete relaxation time for some of us! We relax and read the paper, watch TV, while waiting for our car and receiving updates from Michael. Michael, thank you for being such a key part of this Honda dealership and treating everyone who walks through those doors with the same level of respect, kindness and appreciation as you do. You are a true asset to this dealership. More

Overall experience was unsatisfactory. Arrived at 0900, knew which car we wanted as we had previously driven the vehicle, yet didn’t leave the faciility until 1350. Had to send the car back to the cleaning dept. three times (french fries under seat, scratches, rear not vacuumed, etc.). Rushed out at 1350 to pick up daughter and didn’t realize that gas was not provided. Didn’t have enough gas to make it to the school and had to stop which, in turn, made me late to pick up my daughter. Was never shown the specifics of the car and was unaware how things worked (electronics, hood release, doors, etc.). Was told by three different people (two salesman, and the finanacial lady) that extra key for the vehicle would be made readily available yet it took a month to produce the key. Was told a different story every time I asked about the extra key (very frustrating). A week after the purchase spoke with Carlo and brought the car over for an “IOU” of remote start and met with him with regard to the specifics of how the car worked (electronics, hood release, tailgate lift, etc.). Also, spoke to him about having an hitch package installed and he said that he would check to see if it could be done on Saturday while the car was already in service for the IOU. Well when he called to confirm the hitch package installation on Saturday it was already installed and with a price tag $700+. No one confirmed the price with us and just after having made a deposit of $2500.00 on the car to purchase it, $700.00 additional was out of the question. However, would like to note that Carlo did made it right with regard to the hitch and was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and provided us any additional information as requested. The first service didn’t go as planned as the first oil change was free yet the rotors had to be turned as the car was shaking badly when the brakes were used. When I arrived, the service man that checked me in indicated that I would be charged $30.00 (or so can’t remember the specfic price) for the additional maintenance required (rotors turned) and I approved having the additional maintenance done. Well, when it came time to check out the cost of the mainteance was triple the price orginally discussed and had to then take even more time out of my schedule to fix the situation. After some time the issue was resolved. Got my car and was traveling to work in D.C. and used the windsheild wiper fluid to clean my windsheild. GOOD GRIEF!!! It looked like someone had put oily soap/detergent in the fluid holder and my winsheld was IMPOSSIBLE to see out of once this soap scrumb stuff dried on the windsheild. I had to stop and buy water to throw on the windsheild and could not clean my windshield until all the fluid was drained and replaced with “real” fluid. I can’t imagine how an error like this could have occurred. Again, frustrating to say the least. More
After experiencing great experiences with the "sales" dept., my expectation from the parts (and service) department was really high. I have purchased two brand new Honda vehicles from this deal "sales" dept., my expectation from the parts (and service) department was really high. I have purchased two brand new Honda vehicles from this dealership within a year and both buying experiences were exceptional. The parts were ordered on Wed. and called on Thur to confirm arrival of the parts at the dealer's parts dept. A parts dept staff informed me that that the parts have arrived and ready for pick up. I've arranged all other involving parties for Sat. morning to complete the repair (outside of the dealership). Friday after long day at work, I wen to the dealership to pick the parts up. I had to wait almost an hour to find out that the parts were just "disappeared" from their inventory. I was shocked. The service dept manager (Mike) came to provide me with explanations and offered to install the part when it comes in on following Tuesday. I understand that mistakes do happen, but after making a call to ensure availability of the parts but only to find out that these may just "disappear" when drive extra miles to pick them up. Bit disappointed, but will see how they handle the situation when go back in few days. More to follow. UPDATE: Went to the dealership this afternoon to have the parts installed. Experienced few hiccups, but finally the parts was installed. The Service Director, Mr. Mike Fink personally took care of the issues and at the end, I was satisfied. Mistakes were made, but Mr. Fink made it right. More
