I can't believe I'm saying this and it sounds quite cheesy, but your dealership *EARNED* all 5 stars, and it has been a stress-free pleasure throughout every step of the process. No kidding, you guys are unlike any dealership I've ever heard of, much less ever been to. It felt too good to be true throughout the negotiation because the price beat out every other price in the country by about 2000 dollars (its true, I checked Truecar.com), excluding one other dealership that came close on price but put off a really bad vibe. I 'waited for the other shoe to drop', but it never did. Kudos to you and your whole team. You made it a pleasure, and I will be reviewing your dealership with fireworks every chance that I get, both online and in-person. If I were more computer savvy, I'd host a website in tribute to you guys. Thanks again for such a great deal and real respect as a customer. Pat yourselves on the back and keep doing what you are doing. *Update 2 weeks later* Joey - the salesman - has called twice now to make sure that everything is going well with my purchase, which I guess means that they are good to work with even after they've made the sale. I'll admit that I first I only responded to Kevin's email because of the excellent price he quoted me. I had already done some negotiations with a local dealer that were somewhat painful due to the salesper because of the excellent price he quoted me. Moreover, I knew more about the vehicle than he did. Fast forward to listening to Kevin's introduction in the voicemail message he left. I immediately got the sense this was the kind of person I wanted to do business with. When I phoned him back, all the transaction details quoted in a previous email were still accurate (no bait and switch) and he was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle itself and ALL of Honda's incentives. I mentioned that I lived 2 hours away and he immediately offered suggestions and was willing to pick me up from a centralized location. I accepted and we finalized all the details over the phone and via email. When I showed up at the dealer, I couldn't believe how incredible the environment was and how helpful and courteous Kevin was. He already had the vehicle detailed, floor mats installed, etc. upon my arrival to make the process that much quicker (he knew I was pressed for time). He made me feel like I was his only customer that day even though I knew that wasn’t the case. Financing was painless compared to previous experiences. Ray took the time to explain in great detail what was covered and NOT covered by all the offered services, unlike most dealerships who just give you the generic "it covers everything". I wish I lived closer so I could give Pohanka my service need business and not to my local dealer who didn't treat me with the courtesy and respect that Kevin and the entire staff at Pohanka Honda offered. I will be buying all my future Honda's from this dealership. More

The initial exhiliration is soon replaced with deep regret and panic when you try to reconcile how you are going to afford the monthly payments. Well, your search for the ideal car salesperson is over!! I believe if you take the time to read my atypical story, you will concur that MIKE FELICE at Pohanka Honda of Fredricksburg will far exceed all your expectations. I have complete faith that you will not be disappointed in the impeccable service he will provide. Although I live in Northern Virginia, I was recently stranded in Southern California, when the lease on my 2007 Honda Accord was due to expire. Although we did not lease my first Honda at Pohanka, my husband always had an excellent experience with their service department. I, thereby, called from California and asked to speak to a salesperson at the Pohanka dealership. I feel tremendously blessed that Mike Felice answered my page that day. I knew that I wanted to lease a 2010 Honda Accord EX-L; but, I was critically ill and unable to even get to a local dealership in CA to actually see the car. During that initial call, Mike was very personable and I was easily able to establish a rapport with him. He was extremely understanding, sympathetic and very patient with my unusual predicament. Since I only had a catalog of the 2010 line of Hondas available, Mike had to educate me on even the basics of the model type, i.e. coupe versus sedan! This relaying of information continued through frequent phone calls as questions arose, always at my convenience, when I felt well enough to talk. Our calls did not end for almost 2 months until Mike was confident that I was fully apprised of all the details of the car I would be leasing. I believe this speaks to Mike's dedication and steadfast commitment to accomodating the individual needs of a customer no matter how long it takes. In sum, Mike could not have made leasing a car over the phone, while I was very ill on the West Coast, any easier during a very stressful time. From the beginning, I found Mike to be completely honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable and always available to answer my questions. (I think he sleeps at Pohanka!) He stands in complete contradistinction from the stereotypical car salesperson who is very persuasive and tries relentlessly to convince you to purchase a feature you may not need just to increase his commission. As just one example, I initally planned on leasing the Honda EX-L V6 (similiar to my 2007 Honda). However, since it had recently become evident that I would never be able to return to practicing medicine, I needed to reduce my monthly lease rate. Mike explained that for the limited driving that I do, I would be completely satisfied with the V4 engine. Finally, Mike made a promise that he would get me the best deal possible and he most definitely remained true to his word! My signing fee and monthly lease rate will actually be considerably less than what I paid back in 2007! There is so much more I could write about Mike's admirable qualities, but I do not want the length of this testimonial to deter potiential customers from reading it. In closing, I have leased cars (either Acura or recently Hondas) in multiple states at different dealerships since 1991. I, thereby, believe that I write from extensive experience. Mike Felice is truly an invaluable asset to the sales team at Pohanka and he is the car salesman I would unreservedly recommend to anyone even considering leasing or buying a Honda. It is well worth the drive down I-95 from Fairfax to Fredericksburg to buy a Honda from Pohanka! I used the USAA Auto Buying service and Pohanka beat the Fairfax Honda price by $1,000! Our sales rep, Joey Lackovic provided great service, answered all the questions and was straight up on the price out the door. I visited Honda of Tyson's which is close to work, they were $1200 higher and kept saying they see this all the time that I'll never get the USAA price. They were wrong and Pohanka was right on! Driving down I-95 in traffic was no fun, but my experience at Pohanka Honda made it worthwhile. The Financing process was equally straightforward. Yes, they offer different protections and options but if you do not want them, you do not have to buy them. Pohanka was also able to beat my USAA interest rate - but you have to ask! More

Pohanka Honda deserves excellent ratings for its state of the art facility as well as its friendly but professional staff. I'm driving my fourth Honda. Eleven years ago, I arrived in Fredericksburg in a nine-year old Accord EX; my second Accord. Because of an unknown censor failure, my 1990 Accord, with just over 345,000 miles, in Fredericksburg in a nine-year old Accord EX; my second Accord. Because of an unknown censor failure, my 1990 Accord, with just over 345,000 miles, died on my way to work one morning in November 2005. I had my car towed to Pohanka, and the service department contacted me later in the day to tell me I needed a new engine. There was no oil in the crankcase! During the day, and through several phone conversations with the dealership, I arrived back at Pohanka Honda after work, and drove out with a 2005 Accord, a car I expected to drive for at least another 345,000 miles. All of my service was again carried out at Pohanka Honda, and I got to know Mike Traber, who still works there, very well. On December 24, 2009, while driving to a nearby grocery store, another vehicle struck me in an intersection. It wasn't until June 16, 2010, that I finally got around to replacing my 2005 Accord. Of course, I went back to Pohanka Honda, and drove away with a 2010 Civic EX. Everyone I have ever met at Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg, Virginia, over the past eleven years, has given me complete and personalized service. I have never received less than a wonderful reception nor have I received less than perfect service. During my most recent buying experience, Barbara Barlow patiently and extensively searched for the exact model I wanted. Ray Morton went above an beyond all my expectations, working with and for me to make sure I drove away a satisfied customer in my new car. Given my confidence in and loyalty to Honda, where else could I possibly go but to Pohanka Honda? I give the dealership high marks for its customer service. More
