Wonderful Experience I really loved my blue Honda Accord V6 and had only owned it for a year when it was totaled in an accident. I wanted to replace it but it was a very h I really loved my blue Honda Accord V6 and had only owned it for a year when it was totaled in an accident. I wanted to replace it but it was a very hard car to find. This dealership had a replacement of my exact car but newer and with upgrades. When I called Mike Felice, he actually held the car for me for several days and checked back with me daily, even though another customer was interested in the car. I so appreciated his willingness to do so until my insurance claim was settled. He showed a great deal of honesty and integrity. Yesterday I went down and purchased the car. It was in like-new condition with low miles for a great price. The finance team was very good to work with as well. Rather than sending out multiple inquiries to see what came back, they actually contacted a few sources one by one to get me the best rate without damaging my credit report. Everyone I met at this dealership was friendly, professional, invested, and really went the extra mile in good service. Bill Hamilton was our salesman (this is actually the second vehicl We had recently purchased a 2014 Honda Pilot from Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg. Bill Hamilton was our salesman (this is actually the second vehicle that we purchased from the dealer and the same salesman). Being a small business owner ourselves, it is important to help out other local businesses. Since we had such a wonderful experience the first time, we decided to go back. Bill brought us the car to our business to test drive. The best part was that when we decided that this was the car that we wanted, Bill had all the paper work done and brought it for us to sign. I didn't even have to set foot in the dealership (which as we all know can be a lengthy process). Pohanka Honda and Bill understand that our time is precious and scarce and they went above and beyond what they needed to do to help us out. I have never seen a dealership that does these things for their customers!!! I called him on the phone, explained to him what was required to get my business and Mike to care of the rest. I live in Waldorf, MD which is quite a ways from Fredericksburg. That said, I told Mike that I wasn't going to make the trip to Pohanka Honda only to discover the deal couldn't get done. Mike assured me that he and his management would be able to make it happen. He stated boldly "that if he couldn't get the deal done that he would fill my gas tank for the long ride home." I new then that Mike was serious about earning my business. Based on my experience, here's why: 1) The facility is very nice. You should be comfortable the whole time--massage chairs, WiFi, a cappuccino machine, etc. I either don't get out much or the dealership goes out of its way to make the entire process very comfortable. Obviously, the cappuccino machine should not be a reason you spend thousands of dollars on a car, but it's nice to have it around! Being at the dealership wasn't a chore. 2) A better reason to actually buy a car from Pohanka is the price. The price I was offered was well below Edmund's and KBB's fair market price. 3) The service the sales consultant, Terrell Robinson, provided was the most helpful of all the dealerships and car lots that I visited. He was not at all pushy, he listened, and he was quick to follow up via email, texts, and phone with answers to my questions. Overall, I feel that I got a very good car, at a great price, through a very good buying experience. I would hope the same for anyone else. More
