Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg is a very large establishment, yet it's always so clean and inviting to walk into. This is the 4th vehicle I have purchased from Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg within the last 2 years and I have been to the same sales person, Jim Calvert each and every time. Jim is an amazing sales person, he is passionate about his line of work and thrives to make sure I am happy with not only my experience but with my purchase as well. I have and will continue to recommend family/friends/co-workers to Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg as well as Jim Calvert. If there is an issue with the vehicle or experience, Jim does everything he can to ensure it is taken care of and that I am satisfied. Another reason as to why I rated Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg so well is because of the finance manager, Joseph Rafanello. He as well makes sure that I am taken care of each and every time he completes my financing. Joey is also passionate about what he does and it reflects when he is taking care of his customers. SHAKY START SALES PERSON I HAD SET AN APPOINTMENT WITH WAS DEALING WITH ANOTHER CUSTOMER. WE WAITING FOR 30 MIN BEFORE THE SALES MANAGER FINALLY ASSIGNED ANOTHER SALES PERSON I HAD SET AN APPOINTMENT WITH WAS DEALING WITH ANOTHER CUSTOMER. WE WAITING FOR 30 MIN BEFORE THE SALES MANAGER FINALLY ASSIGNED ANOTHER SALES PERSON. THAT PERSON WAS VERY GOOD. HAGGLE A LITTLE ON PRICE, THEY CAME DOWN A VERY LITTLE, I HAD TO INCREASE MY DOWN PAYMENT. WE FINALLY AGREED ON A PRICE. WHEN YOU PURCHASE A VEHICLE, I FELL THEY SHOULD GIVE YOU ONE CAR ACCESSORY AS A GIFT. TO SHOW THEIR APPRECIATION ON MY PURCHASE. THEY WOULDN'T GIVE UP SOMETHING AS SMALL AS WHEEL LOCKS OR SPLASH GUARDS. NOTE: I HAD TO BRING THE CAR BACK TO SERVICE BECAUSE THERE WERE NUMEROUS LIGHTS STAYING ON THE DASH BOARD. STAYED IN THE DEALERSHIP THREE HOURS WAITING ON THE CAR WAS BEING REPAIRED. I FELL THAT I AM OWED SOMETHING FOR THIS INCONVENIENCE. More

When my friend and I went to the dealership earlier in the day, we were told that we could not test drive a new Civic because no one was available. That we had to schedule an appointment and come back later! In working in retail and customer service I found that insane!! When we got back home, we started chatting with Maureen online and without telling her of our previous experience at first, right away she asked "when can you come drive this car!!" We headed back to the dealership and got to actually drive the vehicle! We then spoke to Greg, the Director of Sales and he apologized for our experience earlier and ensured that we were taken care of! I purchased one (2012) & leased one (2014) Honda Civic Pohanka Honda. Additionally I have dealt exclusively with Pohanka Honda for over twenty years for cars and service. My sales man for the 2012 was a fine gentleman named Don Erickson. At that time he recommended a Leased car proposal, however my wife & I were determined to buy one Don was such a great sales man I described his service as "Supercalafragililisticexpialidousis" an when I came back for a traded for another new car Don was out recovering from surgery. We met and were thankful to meet Bill Hamilton. He presented fantastic options for a new & leased car.
