I did buy a car there but would never again.... Customer service is poor at best... Service dept took forever... Unprofessional. I was looking for a new vehicle because I needed more room. I checked a few Hyundai dealerships and Min was about one of the less interested person to put any effort for me to buy a car from them. He told me during the conversation that "I would never do that for a customer", "I do not think the car will come in that color" and other comments that kept making think that he was just not interested in me to buy a car from them. One of the best comments was "when you are ready I will give you the best price possible"! I already had a very good quote from College Park (were I ended up buying my NEW car!!!!) The exterior and interior colors I wanted the accessories I wanted!!! everything he said that it might not come!!! More
I originally set an appointment to meet with Ronnell Seales. When I arrived at the dealer for my appointment however, I was told that Ronnell wasn't there yet. I then called him and he told me that he would be there very soon and to speak with another guy who was supposed to be waiting for me- turns out that guy wasn't there either. When I called Ronnell back he then decided to ignore my calls. He never did show up so I ended up speaking with another sales person. This guy was nice and friendly but he had no idea what cars they had on the lot, or even how to navigate the dealer's website. I told him that there was a specific car that I was interested in that was listed on their website. When he was unable to find it and told me they didn't carry the car, I pulled out my laptop and showed him myself. He told me that this car was at another location and he would contact that location the next morning and then give me a call. He never did call and I never heard any more from Ronnell either. I was really excited about buying a car from Pohanka Hyundai because I was referred through the Navy Fed Auto Buying Program. However, after this experience I went elsewhere and got a much better deal. I am definitely going to contact Navy Fed about the experience. conclusion: TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, DON'T BUY HERE! More
I started out at this dealership with another sales person that kept me waiting for almost an hour in order to test drive 1 vehicle. This sales person didn't want to make the time to work with me and gave me erroneous information when talking about the vehicles. Mr. Seales offered to take over and walked me through the xxxxxxand con's of SUV ownership vs car ownership. I test drove 2 SUV's the Tucson and the Sante Fe. I loved the Santa Fe, but thought it was just a little too big for my driving purposes. Mr. Seales was very patient. He was very knowlegeable about all vehicles that I wanted to test drive. He spent 4 hours with me answering all my questions. My last car was a Honda. It was 16 yrs old. I loved that Honda so this was my first time having to purchase a car all on my own. The experience overall was very comforting, I wasn't rushed and appreciated his patience. When I made the final decision, I called him up and he came by to pick me up (I no longer had a car) and we finalized the paper work and took a quick review of how the car works. Once he turned me over to the finance department again everything went smoothly and I have a car note that doesn't break my budget. I am loving my 2013 Hyundai Sonata Limited. I only wished that I had the backup camera but you can't have everything. I would definitely recommend Pohanka Hyundai to others. This actually is the 2nd car I have purchased from Pohanka. I once purchased from Pohanka Oldsmobile. I look forward to the relationship I will build with service for the up keep of my car. My first appt is scheduled for Wed, October 10, 2012 and I am sure they will resolve whatever issues I have. More

I was initially attracted to Pohanka Hyundai because of the professionalism of my Sales Associate, Bill Edwards. His responsiveness to my questions, keeping me informed about all details of my car and abi the professionalism of my Sales Associate, Bill Edwards. His responsiveness to my questions, keeping me informed about all details of my car and ability to communicate in a timely manner both via email and phone made this an awesome car buying experience. Did the classic "Bait and "Switch" quoting me a price on the phone which was confirmed by email by the sales rep, Raquel Eaton. Knowing how many dealers do the bait and switch, I contacted the general sales manager (Kip Douglas) via email to confirm the pricing prior to traveling to the dealership. He would not honor the price confirmed by his sales rep and proceeded to tell me there is no way anyone would sell the vehicle for the price his sales rep had just confirmed with me. He failed to acknowledge the commitment his sales rep made and his actions suggests that the sales reps have not accountability for how they represent the dealership and can not be trusted to do so, despite being told that the price agreed to had been approved by management. They also did the bait and switch on model year, saying their pricing was based on a 2012 rather than 2013 model, when 2013 was cited in all of our written correspondence. Kip Doughlas then quoted me a price that was close to $2,000 more than what his sales rep quoted me. The Stay clear from Pohanka Hynudai. More
I hate buying cars...I'd really rather have a root canal than go to a car dealership. However after buying from Pohanka, I no longer feel that way :) I found a used Santa Fe I liked online however had than go to a car dealership. Diego, our salesperson, was awesome! He followed up with me via email and phone. He came out to our house (30+ miles away) and picked us up in the vehicle to take us to the dealership. He was warm, personable, knowledgeable, and efficient. We were never turned over to another manager or supervisor - we only dealt with Diego and Finance. We had had a foreclosure on our credit and weren't sure how easy it would be to finance a car - Pohanka made it a breeze. Michael, in Finance, was great - there were no hard sell tactics, just efficient, knowledgeable, caring service. If I had known buying a car could be this easy, I would have done so much sooner - I would definitely buy from them again! More
