Started off well. I was told that my car would be in around mid-August. August 11th comes and I call Ronnell (who by the way was an excellent sales person) and request that a manager call me so that I around mid-August. All day, no call. I decided to visit the dealership. Waited 15 minutes to speak with a manager. I spoke with Kip, the other, whose name I don't know but was seated right next to him. I started to tell the manager about how I was unhappy and I didn't understand why I could not receive a firmer delivery date of my vehicle. While both managers listening, they were also adamant about telling me that I needed to be patient and that many of their customers wait an extended amount of time for their vehicles to come in (as long as 1.5 months!). I expressed that not knowing when my car was coming in made me uncomfortable. The manager said so if it's not here on that exact date, what are you going to do?! After a few rude comments and frustrating gestures, I left the dealership that day feeling defeated. When I left I was in my car speaking to my husband with the door open contemplating getting my $500 refunded when one of the managers I just spoke with said to me, "I see you are still out hear making noise." Overall, I felt that my business was not appreciated and that because they had other customers who, at the time, were satisfied, they were not obliged to satisfy me or address my anxiety about my purchase. The day a came in to get my refund, magically, the dealership's receipt of my purchase, which had been stapled to my paperwork, was not intact...hmmmmm. Luckily I had my copy. Ronnell and Joanne were nice. The managers- the opposite when confronted with an unsatisfied customer. Instead of being compassionate, tolerant and defusing a situation, they seem to antagonize it and challenge my option to WALK as a customer. If you want to be treated like your business is valued from START to FINISH, you may want to go somewhere else. More

The staff at the Pohanka Hyundai dealership was very friendly and efficient. I came into the delaership with a simple inquiry and left with a new 2012 Hyundai Elantra! The highlight of the visit, besides leaving with a new car, would have to be the staff singing to me once the sale was finalized. I have been raving about my experince at the dealership and my new car since my day of purchase!I would definitely reccommend Hyundai to friends and family and am happy to be apart of the Hyundai family! Eugene was very patience, understood what I wanted and what I wanted to pay for it. He made follow up calls to me regarding the first car I inquired about. I went from the 5 door Accent in Mocha Bronze to the Elantra to the Sonata (Which I purchased). I think everytime he called me I had changed my mind about that car and had moved on to the next, he understood and found the last car I wanted, went got and and give me everything I wanted. I hope that the next Hyundai I purchase whether it 2 years or 5, Eugene is avaiable to work with me. More

I was pleased with the service that I received from the Dealership. Mr. Harris was very easy to work with and very courteous. He also gave me a very detailed overview of the features on the car that I chose so that I was very familiar with their use and how to operate them. Overall, Mr. Harris was a pleasure to work with and I appreciate that he took the time to ensure that I was comfortable with my choice before we discussed my purchasing options. He seemed genuinely concerned that I was a little nervous about buying another car, and that I was looking a car that was safe and reliable, yet also reasonable. He fully explained the details about the Hyundai's safety ratings and the features of the vehicle that made it a safe and reasonable choice. In short, everything was great, the experience was not uncomfortable as I envisioned and in fact pleasant and relaxing. More
My membership at Costco brought me from Columbia to Pohanka Hyundai in Marlow Heights to buy my Elantra. My sales representative, Bill Edwards was very helpful, as was Joanne, the finance officer. The other employees were warm and friendly, and the overall atmosphere here was very pleasant. None of the predatory approach found at some other dealerships. No purchase from us! We drove 45 minutes to get to the dealership for an arranged appointment to test drive and get a quote on a 2011 Tucscon. The women we had an appointment with was not even there or they couldn't find her, though they didn't try hard.. they paged her once in 15 minutes. They basically ignored us when we tried to get someone to help us in the dealership. They left us waiting to talk to someone for 15 minutes then some guy came out and introduced himself as if we should know him. He meandered out into the 90 degree heat, waved at a scraggly line of Tucsons on the lot and then said he'd get keys and a plate for one. Ten minutes of standing in the sun and nothing. We go back in, and we get ignored for another 10 minutes. Finally, we gave up and drove away to Mazda to spend our $25k. If shopping for a new Hyundai is your thing, avoid this dealership. More
