I have been buying cars for 20+ years and this is the first time I felt writing about a dealership complimenting their service. I bought a second car in the last 5 years from them this past Sunday. I worked with Peter LeComte 5 years ago and this time as well. Peter's customer service was outstanding. He really makes a customer feel at ease while exploring different models/styles and never makes one feel that they are asking too many questions or asking for too many test drives. He truly helps a customer make the right decision as he attentively listens and provides suggestions. I have been going back and forth on the car I bought this weekend for the last 2 weeks with him and he always had a smile on his face. I probably would have left for another dealership if it wasn't for his customer service. Now this deal would not been possible without Scott Brewer. Picking a car is one part of the purchase, getting the numbers right is quite another. Throughout the whole process, Scott was in constant conversation with me and understood my needs and goal. He came up with different options and worked with me throughout the process till I felt comfortable with the numbers. More

My family has been buying cars from Pohanka Lexus since we moved to the area almost a decade ago. We had a couple of experiences at other dealerships that, while they were friendly for the most part, they we moved to the area almost a decade ago. We had a couple of experiences at other dealerships that, while they were friendly for the most part, they didn't seem to care to get our business once we did not express urgency at purchasing. After one purchase at the first dealer, we were beyond annoyed because not only did we have to wait what seemed like an eternity (with a five-year-old, at that), there were several careless errors on the financial paperwork that required us to schlep back to the dealership and wait and wait ... and wait some more. I was thisclose to just leaving the vehicle in their parking lot and just having my attorney send them MY paperwork in addition to a bill for MY wasted time. However, when we met Cliff at Pohanka one rainy Saturday, he didn't pressure or harass us and he treated us with the utmost respect - like family. We felt we had known each other all our lives by the time we had left there. Having been traumatized before with sitting in a dealership all day previously, Cliff promised us that he would be done with us in no time. Cliche remark, right? Typical of a car salesman, right? Well, it was gospel truth. He was very expedient and he made every move possible to ensure that our paperwork was accurate and done and our car was delivered sans drama. We are four cars in now and we do not go anywhere else even though we are now in DC and have to drive almost an hour to get to Pohanka. We even head to Pohanka for all servicing where the manager Kevin takes very good care of us. I can't get enough of them, they are wonderful beyond words. I could move to Timbuktu and would still head to Pohanka Lexus for my purshase and service needs. More

I visited Pohanka Lexus to trade in my SUV for a smaller car. I met with Suseel Kanagaratnam and Mike Wirth. They were both so friendly, knowledgable, and patient. They gave me a very fair price for the trade-in, and worked with me on the price of the new car. Once we found a car to suit my needs, they made the purchase process quick and easy. They take pride in their work and are really all about customer service. I am so thankful to both of them, and I will ALWAYS return to them when the need arises for another vehicle in the furture. The title and tags department was a nightmare, I went back 3 weeks after to check out another Lexus for my daughter, which I am seriouly thinking of purchasing in a few weeks (not sure now), it was a Friday 10 days before my temporary tags expired. I figured while I am there, I can ask for my tags, the girl said, (did not get her name) we have your tags and will be mailing it out to you tomorrow, so expect it by Tuesday. I waited for the entire week, and have just 3 days left before the old tags expired, to date I am still waiting on my new tags, I called Cesar, very helpful as usual, he really tried his best, and the tags were still sitting on the girl's desk, I spoke to 2 people including the manager, they had every excuse that just did not make sense, they were just covering for each other, Note I did my registration 2 days after I purchased the vehicle in MD and send the originals to Pohanka Lexus of Chantilly the said day, when I called a few days after they said they have received my registration documents. I understand it will take a week or two for VA to get the tags, but to have it sitting on your desk,..... More

The Service Department at Pohanka is equally helpful, and the mechanics do great work; although they left ink marks or grease on the upholstery on a few occasions over the years. That said, when brought to the Service Desk's attention, they always cleaned it up good as new every time. More
