I brought my 911 to the dealership for an unscheduled service ( bad clutch pressure plate ) on Tuesday pm and had the car back Thurs. pm as promised with no surprises. Spending a morning at an auto dealership can actually be a pleasant experience, if the dealership is Princeton Porsche. Service doesn't come cheaply, but that's to be expected if you drive a high-end car, a pleasant experience, if the dealership is Princeton Porsche. Also, they didn't push for unnecessary or questionable servicing - the car was inspected and appropriate recommendations were made based on mileage and condition. I purchased my Porsche from an out-of-state dealer,but brought my car in to princeton to inquire about some minor service. Even though I did not purchase my car at Princeton Porsche, Gene greeted me imme brought my car in to princeton to inquire about some minor service. Even though I did not purchase my car at Princeton Porsche, Gene greeted me immediately, was very pleasant--told me a couple of things about my car that was very helpful...and he made a couple of minor fixes himself that cost me nothing! In the 4 years I have been a customer, I have always received professional and corteous service. Although I have a base Cayenne, I was made to feel as if I had bought their newest 911. I can't ever remember having to wait for a service technician, like I've had to when I owned a BMW or Mercedes. Attention was always immediate and personal. I gave my car in for service, oil change, brakes detailing etc. It has been 3 days and they are still not done, and i have to point out what they have not done.
