I recently purchased my 2nd 911 (actually a new 991 4S) 33 years after selling the first. Since 1991 I have owned several BMW M cars which I've always modified slightly and known Bob as a neighbor and golf 33 years after selling the first. We've always talked cars and Bob is as knowledgeable as they come having raced, serviced and sold cars but I appreciated the fact he never tried to sell me. Disenchanted with current BMWs I put a deposit down on an Audi RS7 anticipating a high-performance comfortable vehicle. After several months of non-response to my questions about minor modifications (custom wheels and paint, financing, etc. I read several internet reviews on the everyday civility of the Porsche 911 Turbo. I called Bob for the real deal and was invited to Walter's Porsche to drive one and see for myself. I drove to Walter's in my Range Rover Sport, got into the Turbo and drove it until I was satisfied with the feel. After that Bob arranged for me to drive an Audi A7 from Walter's Audi dealership next door. Undecided I left to think about. Bob suggested I come back and try the 991 Carrera S with the 4" longer wheelbase. That sealed the deal. I cancelled the RS7 order and after some dicussion decided on the 991 Carrera 4S which I took delivery of on November 29, 2013. Bob obviously listened to my questions, he not only knew the options list off the top of his head (no mean feat when a Porsche is involved) but he actually saved me from several impractical options. Bob went out of his way to answer my questions, Walter's made me a great deal and the financing aspect was as efficient as it could be. Overall it was like night and day, the best folks to do business with. On top of that I was so impressed with the Porsche that I sold my 2008 Range Rover and bought a used 2011 Cayenne. Bob advised me on that and with Richard in Walter's Parts Dept guided me through the installation of an aerokit on a vehicle Walter's didn't sell me!! This is why I recommend Bob McDonald and Walter's Porsche. More

We did our negotiation by e-mail (and there was no BS) and I made an appointment to see (and possibly lease) the car. I took my wife for a test drive and we returned to the dealership in love with the car and the paperwork took a few minutes and we had an excellent and thorough delivery and were done quickly. But we didn't rush out because we were treated so well and the staff was so friendly we felt welcome and my wife (who hates car shopping) said it was the best dealership experience we ever had. Walter's had the exact car we were looking for (no other dealer in Southern California had it) and I've had good experiences leasing Porsches from other dealerships but this was the best by far and well worth the drive! More

I had been checking inventories of new Porsche 911's in Southern California for at least 6 months. When I saw the vehicle that closely matched all the features that I desired on the website of Walter's in Southern California for at least 6 months. When I saw the vehicle that closely matched all the features that I desired on the website of Walter's Porsche, I decided to drive down to Riverside to check out the 911 that I would end up purchasing. I was warmly greeted by Scott McCloud who immediately put me at ease with his genuine friendliness and sincerity. I was impressed by his enthusiastic knowledge of all things Porsche - particularly the 911. Scott realized I was a serious potential customer and offered me a test drive of the 911 Carrera 4. I wholeheartedly agreed as I hadn't had a chance to drive a Porsche much less even been a passenger in one before. Scott drove the 911 initially to display the incredible capabilities of the 2014 "super car" - especially its stunning acceleration. Scott has a particularly good way of explaining complex features of the technical aspects of Porsche that allowed a novice like myself to understand. After the test drive, Scott took me inside the dealership to discuss the possibility of swapping the wheels for a different set on another 911. I was given a "best price out the door" offer for a rare model within a very short period of time. Scott also convinced me to consider having Walter's apply a clear bra to protect the expensive paint job. I never felt any pressure to make an immediate decision. After sleeping on the idea of making a big purchase, I notified Scott that I was ready to buy the next day. He was extremely accommodating to my needs & made all the arrangements to get the bra installed; tires & wheels swapped; reflector lights switched; and even arranged for a pick-up at my residence 49 miles from the dealership. The 911 4 was prepped perfectly. Scott thoroughly explained all the things I needed to know about operating & driving the 911 4 safely. The final completion of the transaction was extremely efficient & quick. Overall, my experience at Walters was outstanding and much of that was due to Scott's professionalism. More
