I was going to wait for a 2010, but I was also aware that the 2008s were being offered all over the country for great prices (I had two in mind, one in Altanta and one in Lancater, PA). There were 3 2008s on the Tischer lot that were possibilities: one I wanted had just sold, another did not work for me, but the RS60 was a possibility. Casey and Chaz lowered the price a bit more, gave me a decent price for my 1999 in trade and I drove the car away that week. LOVE THE CAR! Oh, yeah, this is about the folks at Tischer -- well, that's just it with Casey. It seems with him it is about the cars, not the sale. He is professional, very knowlegdable, friendly and so non-pressure that he is almost not a salesman. He made sure that everything during the sale went without a hitch. Brian did the financial details and that part went very smoothly. (Note: I got a sense of trusting Casey when I spec'ed my 09. I asked him if there was anything that I did not order that I should order and he recommended heated seats, if for no other reason than for resale. I don't need the fancy stuff and questioned that recommendation only to read on ppbb, a boxster chat board that I frequent, that heated seats are an almost must have option for many people. I have looked online for years for a specific car/colors/options, and while several turned up, there was never the first interest from any dealer, much less any help in making a transaction happen. Then I found two vehicles at Tischer, and the 'usual' dymnamic changed. I received two emails the next day, followed by an initial phone call from Casey Parkin. In a very short order, he had checked his inventory, matched the vehicle I wanted with the options I needed to make the vehicle the one I wanted to have. Then the experience just got better ... It seems that Mr. Parkin races a Porsche, and has extensive, first-hand knowledge that is invaluable - through his suggestions and guidance, I will have an amazing car with some specific adjustments to enhance performance. Throughout the process, Mr. Parkin simply and completely handled every detail for me - as I live nearly 1,000 miles from Tischer Porsche, this has been invaluable. Joanna McCarthy walked me through the paperwork and functional details, and went as far as to work with me on her day off to ensure all the specifics of an out-of-state sale came off without a hitch or delay. Further, Tischer's price for this Cayman S beat several other dealers by nearly $15,000 - and when you factor in the need for hauling a car 1,000 miles, every bit of saving is essential ; saving this much while being treated well with professional courtesy is phenomenal. If any who made read this are considering Tischer Porsche, I strongly urge a call to Casy Parkin ... he knows his stuff, is professional, efficient, and can be counted upon - quite a rare quality these days. I decided to review my sales experience with Casey Parkin at Tischer Porsche because I was extremely happy to have dealt with him. My car took about 4 months to arrive from Germany and during that time I had at Tischer Porsche because I was extremely happy to have dealt with him. My car took about 4 months to arrive from Germany and during that time I had tons of questions about after market parts and his opinions on things I wanted to do to my new vehicle and he went out of his way to help me. I must have emailed or called him at least 50 times and he always was available and willing to help. I cannot thank him enough and hope if anyone is looking for a Porsche, they contact Casey. I also service my other vehicle at Tischer and they are excellent. More
I have been meaning to write this for a few weeks now so here it goes. I had a problem with my Cayenne brakes making a grinding noise. I went to Tischer where Casey met me at the door and went out of his way to find Tom who was helping another customer. Tom quickly helped me and got his guys on it while I waited. Mike the mechanic checked over my car and found that my front brakes were worn out and my tires were really bad. I was due for a service and my brake fluid was dirty. I was shocked when Mike showed me the tires. Mike did a great job fixing my Porsche and making it safe for me. I like the way Mike explained the repairs in plain English. I did not feel intimidated or talked down to at all. I really recommend Mike to all of us who are not as car savvy as most. Great job Tischer! More
After taking my Porsche to three other dealers for a creaking noise only to be told this was normal or they could not find it. I took it to Tischer were Tom the service director had me ride with Mike the tech. After a short ride Mike had a good idea of what the noise was. It was the front ball joint-control arm. It was very apparent that this young man knows his stuff.It turns out he has been working on porsche sense 1989.I am very happy to have found him and Tischer in genral. I will return for all my service needs. More

I took my 2006 Porsche Cayman S to Tischer for Brake service due to another Porsche dealer damaging my braking system. I usually take my car to Tischer but I no longer worked in the area so took it to P service due to another Porsche dealer damaging my braking system. I usually take my car to Tischer but I no longer worked in the area so took it to Porsche of Arlington which I will NEVER do again. I brought it to Arlington for the 20,000 mile service, even though I only had 14,000 miles on her. The service included a brake flush of the system. After pulling out of the dealer lot i could not stop the car and had to pump the brakes and pull the E-Brake to get the car to stop. I almost rear ended a car in front of me. I turned around and made it back to the dealer to inform them of the problem. The technician took it out for a test drive but could not figure out why the braking system would not work. They wanted to charge me for a few hours of diagnosis to figure out the problem even though it did not have this problem when I brought the car in. My car is under warranty and I asked why it would not be covered, I was told the labor/ diagnosis time is not covered. I was surprised the dealer (Porsche of Arlington) let me leave the lot without such an important safety device in working order. Very upset I called the dealer which I usually take my car to, Tischer. I explained the problem to Casey Parkin who I was transferred to. It was not his department but he went out of his way to listen and help me to get an appointment the same day. I received a call back from Raymond Pollard to verify the situation and had me explain the problem in depth with one of the technicians, Mike Cohen. I brought the car in right away and was greeted by Jessica Lewis. I was given a 2008 boxster as a loaner and went on my way. The next day I was called the next day by Raymond Pollard who informed me of what was done and it was covered under warranty. I returned on a saturday to pick up my car which was vacuumed and washed. Extremely satisfied I drove off. Even though Tischer is not as close for me to visit, I will not take my Audi or Porsche to any other dealer. I highly recommend the professional excellent service from Tischer, I wish all dealers had the level of service that Tischer has. More

Chaz, the Sales manager always has the latest in Porsche news and always is there to greet me when I walk into the showroom, to just hi!! Very Porfessional and never , " pushy". Jay, the lead sales associate, is a good friend and we often talk more about life than Porsche, that is how pleasant it is to be in his company, He knows his Porsche stuff too, and is both prudent and direct when you need answers.
