I bought my 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera at this dealership, and literally in the delivery room, the moment I started the car for the first time as the owner, an "Inspection Now" alert popped up on the dashboar and literally in the delivery room, the moment I started the car for the first time as the owner, an "Inspection Now" alert popped up on the dashboard. Instead of the dealership addressing this before handing me the keys, I was offered a $2,000 2-year maintenance package — an upsell on a car I'd just bought, rather than the dealership taking responsibility for something that was already wrong with the vehicle before the sale. Less than an hour later, still on the drive home, a second alert appeared: "Engine control fault." I reported this to the dealership the very next day. What really soured the experience was the warranty process afterward. I was told the Gold VSC couldn't be "acknowledged" by the administrator until 30 days had passed, or the fault would be treated as pre-existing — even though it showed up within minutes of leaving the lot. That doesn't match the actual contract language, which only excludes pre-existing conditions, not a blanket 30-day waiting period. It took over 40 days before I could finally get authorization to take the car in for repair. I worked with Ian (my salesperson), his supervisor Tony, and Kevin in financing. Ian was genuinely great throughout this whole process, and I don't blame him at all for what happened. Tony and Kevin, on the other hand — both far more experienced — are the ones who really frustrated me. I'd have expected more accountability and urgency from them, not less. What should have been the experience of buying my dream car turned into a stressful, drawn-out process, with little transparency about the vehicle's actual condition before the sale and little urgency in addressing a problem that appeared almost immediately after delivery.
