Failed Sales Experience Walked in and walked around the dealership for 10 minutes, no one approaches me and my dad. Finally i had to asked to see a sales person. She gave me a look as if i cannot afford a porsche. I told her what i wanted. showed her the ad from their webite. She takes out her giant iphone to take a picture of the website on my iphone. I waited outside so she can rushed into her sales manager office for discussion. I was just standing their with my family. It was so strange. I never bought a car standing up and there are empty offices/desks everywhere. She ran out, told me that car i want is pushed into service. Cant sell it to me. Told me to buy something else I dont want. Gave me the discount i dont want. SO I LEFT. More
Greg Austin At the time of leasing the finance manager Greg Austin told me that the annual maintenance fee is $1800/year and when I got surprised about the price At the time of leasing the finance manager Greg Austin told me that the annual maintenance fee is $1800/year and when I got surprised about the price he said “I am going to put it on a contract black and white, no gray area”, comforting me to believe him. He suggested to add the payment to my monthly payment for extra $150 per month which I took his advice. After a year when I took my car for the first year maintenance to another Porsche dealership I came to find out the first year service cost was less than $300 and the cost for the second year was less than $500. So I went back immediately to Greg Austin to speak with him shockingly enough he laughed at me and he said it’s not on the contract leaving me believe I was ripped off and was lied to which was the last thing I could expect from such brand like Porsche. I perfectly understand the nature of sales and working off of a commission, however the extent he took this to was way out of anyone’s imagination . ($1800 x 2 vs $300 + $500) Since then I’ve been telling all my family members and friends not to deal with this establishments for any purposes, sales nor service. More
