My friend an I originally came in to view a Hyundai Elantra that was suppose to be on the lot at the time of my arrival. Unfortunately I was devastated when I heard the car was sold. Desperately needing a car, I began opening my search to more flexible options when looking for the right car. I was grateful to have Karen assist me in the beginning but very quickly she became very dismissive with her tone and attitude towards my friend and I. She stated that I” have champagne taste, on a beer budget.” I was very upset by this remark as I continued to wait for hours as Nigel started to assist me with the loan agreement. After many hours and numerous credit pulls we attempted to find a car loan that was right for me. I then proceed to Jerome to sign the paperwork and make the down payment. Due to the lack of information I left the dealership with no car, half of my down payment already made, and a lengthy checklist to be completed. I also started receiving assistance from Danielle. After completing that checklist within that small time frame I then call Danielle to set up a drop off time that never happened. I was then hassled into making more on the down payment and even spending $100 on Uber to travel to my job (on an off day) to retrieve a paystub I didn’t have access to unless I was on my job’s VPN which I stated to Danielle, Jerome, and Nigel. There was so much communication coming from Danielle as the sales person and not the financial supervisor who Danielle stated “Didn’t feel comfortable giving me the loan/car without all of those stipulations being made.  I eventually gave in and asked for a refund because I was beyond stressed and humiliated for how I was treated as a Young African- American Credit Developing Professional. At 11:34pm Monday January 17th, 2022 Jerome sent me an e-mail stating that I would receive a full refund of $4500 onto my debit card. Jerome then doubled back on this email saying he would drop off half of that check on January 19th and the other half onto my debit card. This is very suspicious behavior coming from a authorized dealership as I expressed this situation to my financial advisor.  But needless to say I would love to have a more in-depth conversation with you about this matter before I take affirmative actions in a different direction More

We bought a 2022 Santa Fe and love it. Michael Shoar was my sales guy and he was AWESOME. He was knowledgeable on the inventory that they had on hand, was helpful in answering every question we had and most my sales guy and he was AWESOME. I have walked out of many dealerships over the years because of pushy sales staff. In fact, we left, went to three other dealerships to look at comparable vehicles and then went back to Potamkin because we felt most comfortable with Michael and we loved the car. The test drive and sale went smoothly, financing was great and Michael has followed up multiple times to assure we are happy and offering to assist with anything we may need relative to the car. Positive experiences like that are the main reason I become a repeat customer. Obviously, I haven't needed the service department yet, but when I do, I will check back in on this forum and post my thoughts. I hope it is as good as the sales experience! More

I went to Potamkin Hyundai on 7-24-2021 to price 2021 Elantra's. I had sold my 2013 Elantra and was looking to buy a new one. Lou Hammersmith met with my husband and I and showed us one but as we were wa Elantra's. I had sold my 2013 Elantra and was looking to buy a new one. Lou Hammersmith met with my husband and I and showed us one but as we were waiting to find out how much it would cost after my down payment, I spotted a 2022 Hyundai Kona on the showroom floor I was interested in. Bless Lou's heart he didn't miss a beat when he came back and I told him I wanted to test drive the Kona.At the end of the day I drove home with the Kona and not an Elantra. Lou Hammersmith took good care of us and also took a good bit of time showing me and helping me figure out new features on the SUV that I had no knowledge of. He even set up my Blu Link for me as I was in the finance office. Thanks Lou for taking such good care of me. Our experience was absolutely amazing with Marcus. We were searching for a certain vehicle and he actively looked for our vehicle. He even went as far as helping us get it reserved for us so it was a gua were searching for a certain vehicle and he actively looked for our vehicle. They found my husbands old Genesis in the system although we sold it befor Potemkin took over. Got scheduled wtoday at 10:30 and my husband got text confirmation on his phone. Got to dealership and told them I had a 10:30 appointment and was told to have a seat inside. Waited and waited and waited. Look outside and saw my car outside and asked if it was ready. Service guy said they tried to call me because they couldn’t find my in the system and needed to let them know what I wanted done. I looked at his tablet and my appointment was there but I don’t know who he called and my husband wasn’t called either. Don’t know why he didn’t just stick his head out and ask me. I was sitting right there reading. I left a little after 1:00 without my oil change I WILL NEVER RETURN More

Omg when I say this is the place to go! I bought my first car when this place was named Malcolm Cunningham Hyundai and now I’m getting my second car at the same place but with new owners Potamkin.
