Although I ended up deciding not to get an Acura, I really appreciated the way this dealership conducts business. They gave me a good price without a lot of gamesmanship and wasting time. Bought a used 2007 TL with Navi from this dealership back in May 2009. Had previously bought a new 2001 CL and had a great experience then as well. We were able to look at the used inventory with no pressure tactics used as all. If we had a question they were answered courteously and effectively. We were able to est drive multiple vehicles and negotiated a fair price for the vehicle we chose as well as our trade in. All in all it was a great transaction. I have used this dealership for service in the past when my work location was nearby and they did an excellent job there as well. More

It was a perfectly smooth transaction, and it was because of his salemanship we decided on the Acura in about a half hour. We had spent months gong to different dealerships test driving and reviewing different vehicles. We had not intended to purchase a car that day. We were short on time. It says a lot that he was somehow able to close the deal when others were not. Says a lot about the car and the saleman. Great job. More

We have been loyal Saab owners for years and decided it was time to change with the possibility of the brand going away. After much research we decided to try Acura. Specifically a 2003 Acura TL. The 2003 was time to change with the possibility of the brand going away. After much research we decided to try Acura. Specifically a 2003 Acura TL. The 2003 had more headroom than the next generation TL in the back seat for our 6 foot son. We traveled over an hour to Precision Acura to look at one with only 53K miles, very low for a 2003. The car was in nice condition but over priced according to KBB and NADA. We were told that the car had been well checked over,in perfect condition and received a 150 point check. We paid the higher price thinking the dealer would stand behind what they were selling. We were wrong. Just over 2 months and 2K miles later we started to experience transmission problems. I contacted their service department and was told to bring it in to the closest Acura dealership to my home which is Piazza of West Chester. They told us it needed a new transmission at a cost of $4800. They were able to talk to Acura and have the price reduced to $1900. After further examining the car they also found a broken motor mount and a blown rear strut. Apparently not items in the 150 Point check done at Precision Acura. Total cost to us over $3000 for a car Precision Acura already overcharged us for. I coincidentily received a email from our sales person Otto Crombet the same day we received this bad news, asking how much we enjoyed our experience with Precision Acura and asking if there was anything he could do to have made it any better. I explained what happened and we never got a response back. Through research on the internet we have learned that this transmission is a known issue for Acura. I received a call from Alex Hilgetag the Used Car manager telling us there was nothing he would do for us and accused Piazza Acura of West Chester of trying to get more work out of us. The car was clearly never properly checked out by Precision Acura's service department. I will never do buisness with Precision Acura again and be sure to tell all of our disappointing experience.
