His complete product knowledge and personal touch make him by far a cut above the rest. My Chrysler 300 stalled when entering the toll road and I could not get it started again. I was terrified and not sure what to do! My car is only a few years old and only has ~ $25,000 miles. Initially, I reached out to the local Chrysler dealership, Tuttle Click in Irvine, CA. The service advisor told me if I could get the car there within 20 minutes, he could have it inspected that day. I brought the car in and four days later, they hadn’t even looked at the car. I made numerous phone calls to get an update to no avail and I was promised every time that someone would get back to immediately, yet NO ONE did. After several days, I was told that they were extremely busy and that a mechanic would take it for a long test drive to see if they could repeat the problem in order to detect a code. I called the next morning to find that they didn’t find anything and it was ready to pick up. I finally picked up the car to find that whoever “looked” at my car also ate lunch in my car [cheetos and a sandwich]. If I wanted it washed, it would take over an hour which is about how long it took to have someone drive the car up to the front so that I could leave. While I waited, a woman told me about her horrible experiences at Irvine Tuttle Click and mentioned that a dealership would soon be opening in San Juan Capistrano; no doubt she was looking for real service as well. I expressed my concern to the service advisor that I was nervous to drive the car not knowing when or where it would stall on me again. I asked what I should do if this happened on the freeway and they suggested I get out of the car. Much to my despair, I wasn’t sure what to do. I drove the car not knowing what to expect next and was afraid of being harmed! A few weeks later, the car stalled several times over and over again. Being a 42 year old woman, recently and unexpectedly widowed, I felt completely helpless. I knew I wouldn’t get anything from Tuttle Click and wasn’t sure what to do. I searched the internet for dealerships and found that Tuttle Click had a lousy two star rating with numerous complaints, however, the DON-A-VEE dealership in Placentia was the highest rated of all of Southern California. Despite the fact Placentia is much farther from me than probably five Chrysler dealerships, I decided to go for the dealer rating after having such a horrible experience at Tuttle Click in Irvine. DEALERRATER.COM is an incredible and reliable resource. My parents flew in from Texas and brought the car in for me and Eric, the Service Manager, took the car and immediately diagnosed the problem. He had the car fixed and made sure it was covered under warranty, within one day. And, when my dad took me to get the car and I met Eric for the first time, Eric personally made sure that we were taken care of and brought my car to me himself! Not only did he take a tremendous burden and stress off of my shoulders, but I found someone that I can trust to take care of my car in the future. Eric is amazing! I was literally brought to tears by his kindness and professionalism. I couldn’t stop hugging him. He let me know I could call him ANYTIME and made me feel at complete ease. There is no doubt that DON-A-VEE is completed concerned for their customers and it is a great comfort knowing that driving a few extra miles makes the difference of victim to victor. It's impossible to explain what an amazing job Eric in Service did taking care of my wife's Pacifica when the transmission went out. There was never a moment we didn't feel like Eric always had our best interests in mind. THAT is why I plan to visit the dealership after I turn in my car in on lease next month. Have had nothing but outstanding service from this dealer. On this particiluar morning I returned my jeep to have a hitch installed and the uconnect troubleshooted. It appears this dealer has excellent internal communications between the sales, finance and service staff. Makes me want to return for service even if the Dealer is a little out of my way. Wow, where do I start? My 1st contact was with Kenny, who called me immediatly when I sent a request via the internet for info on a new Jeep. What a great guy! Came in on his day off to work with me. While I waited for him to arrive, I met Stuart, the owner, while I was walking on the lot. Friendly, gracious and not pushy. When Kenny arrived, he spent time with my friend and I and did everything to make my experience pleasant and fun. Kenny was very popular, phone calls coming in for him regularly, but never made me feel as if my business with him was not the most important part of his day. Did everything to make me happy; going so far as to give me a Jeep baseball hat when I asked for one and then also giving me a keychain. He did not just sell me a new Jeep, he got to know me, and shared his own personal stories with me. When it was time for me to meet Johnny, I was already very happy with the experience. Johnny was also amazing when he reviewed my financing with me, giving me not just a great deal, but again taking the time to get to know me and sharing his own stories. He even gave my friend and I some of his personal tickets to a Ducks hockey game! Also threw in several years of oil changes on my new Jeep. Again, WOW! What a great experience I had! Buying my Jeep was a huge financial burden on me, and I was a wreck, but I was made to feel that my needs would be met, sold a great Jeep and had so much fun with the guys at Don-A-Vee. I had purchased my last Jeep at a dealership (now closed) in 2002, it was a horrible experience and I was pretty annoyed with the ordeal I had. Totally different here. I will tell everyone I know what a great time I had purchasing my Jeep at Don-A-Vee! Thanks guys for everything! I'm such a huge fan now! More

We bought this car from Ford Of Orange with in 2 months we had a horn problem. Ford said not our problem and take to the Jeep deeler. On christmas eve we went to Jeep not knowing the cost of the work. they we had a horn problem. Ford said not our problem and take to the Jeep deeler. On christmas eve we went to Jeep not knowing the cost of the work. they took the jeep in and with in an hour called us and advised what the problem was. we were able to fix the problem while i battled with the ford dealer over paying for the work. Our experience was a good one. 100% better then Ford of Orange. More
My overlal experience with Don A Vee and Ken Smirz in particular was very positive. I couldn't have accomplished what I wanted (trade + purchase) without Kenny's help! This is the third used car I've purchased at this dealership and I feel the best about this purchase. I'm never sure if I've paid the best price I could, but I'm happy with the results. I do wish that regular car dealerships could give you 30 days to drive the car and report any problems (like CarMax does) but other than that, I think this was a positive experience. Along with purchasing a used 2009 Pontiac G6 GT there were some items that needed to be fixed before I was totally satisfied. Customer service is big to me and Don-A-Vee came up big. Ken Smirz made sure I was totally happy with my car and Mo Jubram was super friendly and helpful in making the repairs most convenient for me. So ultimately the question you ask yourself is, would I want to deal with Don-A-Vee again? Yes, I would. Thanks Don-A-Vee. More
