Tom Kirk, Dir. of Operations, reviewed the work performed by another dealer on a K13 Recall on 1/18/21 and agreed that the workmanship was not acceptable to me or his dealership. He contacted Chrys performed by another dealer on a K13 Recall on 1/18/21 and agreed that the workmanship was not acceptable to me or his dealership. He contacted Chrysler Corp. and the other dealership about the work performed. On 1/23/2001 he received approval from Chrysler Corp. to order new front inner liners and install them to complete the K13 Recall work in a quality manner. His commitment to satisfy the customer in a timely manner is appreciated and should be noted by the jeep community. Took my dear PT Cruiser in for maintenance servicing. Flushing of all fluids was recommended, and I agreed because I had driven the car across the country from coast to coast twice in two years. It has also been subjected to freezing temperatures during an East Coast winter. I like the car so much, it is worth it to me to make sure the cleanest fluids possible are in it. Kind of like feeding high quality food to a person. My husband is mechanically inclinded and he agreed to the fluid flushes and wanted dealer trained technicians with quality parts and fluids used, to not risk any old mechanic throwing in whatever was sitting around.
