Terrible Customer Service - Stay Away! Where to start? This review is for the sales/financing dept. of the used car section. I worked with Ricardo (who was great and has nothing to do with this). I test drove the car, liked it and went into the office to talk about price. Ricardo brought in the used car manager (Marty?) and he was so condescending to me. Twice, he asked me if my husband needed to be in the room to talk about price. Twice I told him no. He asked me what I wanted to pay for the car (of course, I throw out a low number, so we could meet somewhere in the middle). He wouldn't even give me a price. He just kept asking me what I want my monthly payment to be. He wanted met to put in an application for financing without knowing how much the final car price would be. I told him I wouldn't fill out anything until we agree on a price. I actually already have financing for the car, and they told me they could get a better rate, and then they told me they wouldn't accept my financing. I ended up very frustrated and left. It's unfortunate because I really did like the car and I was ready to buy it (if we could agree/negotiate a price). It felt very scam's and stereotypical used car dealership. Luckily, it's not the only car out there, and I am patient. Fast forward to 2 days later...Ricardo calls me to apologize. Like I said, I have no issue with him. He was and respectful. It was the manager who really rubbed me the wrong way - he was very pushy and really tried to get me to fill out a credit application. I know they make money on the back end, but in this case, wouldn't you rather have a deal, sell a car, have a good word of mouth review/recommendations from a happy customer, and potentially repeat business? Fast forward to today...I called 3 other Ray Brandt dealerships to see if they would take the independent financing I had already been approved for, and they all told me yes, of course. When I spoke with the financing manager at the Ray Brandt Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep today, I told him I was interested in a car on their lot, but had my own financing. Do they accept it? He told me he didn't know and that I was speaking with the wrong person, I had to speak with the used car manager. Marty (sp?) called me back and it was the same guy I had spoken with in person last week...again, condescending and tried to push me to fill out their credit application. Again, no price...he wants me to go in. I told him I wasn't driving over to the West Bank until I knew a price and agreed with it...he dropped it by a few measly dollars. Fine. But he said he wouldn't take my financing. AND...if I decide to go in, to bring my husband!!!!! This is not the 1950's...I have never felt so gender discriminated against, as I did with this dealership. It was a terrible, infuriating feeling. I will be sure to tell everyone I know (and I know a lot of people) to stay away from that dealership. I will also be sure to write a complaint to Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep to let them know of my issues with this dealership that supposedly represents their products. I'm very dissappointed. More

We parked directly in front so clearly they could see that we were shopping. We look at a few of the displsays that was in from anticipating that a salesman’s would come. After about 6 or 7 minutes no one came. We decided to go in the show room and clearly there were 4 or 5 salesman and NONE even look at us. So we kind of look at the ones on the floor still no salesman, continue to look and nothing. Finally, we went and got a brochure from the shelf and proceed to the exit door. There was one salesman that seen us drive up watch us on the floor all while sitting at his desk assuming to be on a cell phone with no interest or concerns about even asking simple words “may I help you”. We continue out the door into our vehicle and left. We will now go to Baton Rouge and purchase the vehicle. More

The cherokee was not a quality vehicle and when I would speak to the service department it was nothing but hassles. I traded the cherokee in 9 months later for a new F150. 5 months later I am still trying to get a refund on my GAP & AMBI policies. I have finally gone to the company that provides the policies and we are cutting Ray Brandt out of the process. Jeep has lost a 15 year customer because of the poor quality of service from these people. All they had to do was return a phone call or answer an email to tell me they couldn't/wouldn't provide customer service. If I could give them negative stars I would! More

Two weeks later we still don't have our check, after going over there several times the manager Mike Canales asked my husband to come in and pick up the check. Once inside of the dealership can you believed this man tried to get my husband to sign a new contract which he refused so of course they refused to give him the check. This dealership has some shady business going on. We will be contacting a lawyer about this! We will never deal with this dealership again......this is a nightmare!!!!! PEOPLE PLEASE BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE.....THEY WILL MAKE YOU COME OUT OF CHARACTER. More

I initially visited Bergeron Jeep, but got the "run-around" on the price of the vehicle and my trade. After wasting 4hrs of my time, I decided to go across the river to Ray Brandt. Once I arrived, I had both a sales person, and a sales manager help me with the purchase. I had to order the Jeep, but it arrived sooner than expected. Once it arrived, I was out of the door in less than 1.5hrs. I was very impressed with both Barry Spahr and Shawn Wilson. These guys will go to whatever length necessary, to make the purchase experience a positive one. I will definitely recommend this dealership to family and friends. More
I initially had a negative experience when I had verbally agreed upon the purchase price of a new car with one of ray brandt's sales representatives, who later informed me he would not honor the deal. I then agreed upon the purchase price of a new car with one of ray brandt's sales representatives, who later informed me he would not honor the deal. I then met with the general sales manager, Ricky Phan. the gm quickly resolved the matter to my satisfaction and sold me the car for the agreed upon price. It was a pleasant experience to not waste hours of my time going back and forth negotiating the price, nor was there any attempt to slide in extra fees or "dealer prep" charges, unlike some local competitors. In the end I would say that they went the extra mile to make to earn my business. I would recommend this dealership if you are considering to buy a car in the near future. More
I have dealt with this rude service department for over 12 years. Everytime I buy a chrysler or Dodge I am promised the service department has "new management" and I wont have problems. They always find a 12 years. Everytime I buy a chrysler or Dodge I am promised the service department has "new management" and I wont have problems. They always find a way to charge you a diagnostic because they try to find things that arent covered under warranty and if you dont have it done and tell them only the warranty work they charge you $100 they also hassle you about getting a rental so you have to go to enterprise down the street and pay for the first few days until they decide to authorize the warranty rental and they you have to wait a week for them to credit your card back. Moe has a bad attitude and needs a course in customer service skills. I like Dodge and Chrylser vehicles but will never buy another vehicle from these people because of the service department More
We went in to trade one of our vehicles. Our sales person (Eddie) was excellent. He had major knowledge of every vehicle we looked at and tryed to accomadate our needs for a vehicle. He was very fri person (Eddie) was excellent. He had major knowledge of every vehicle we looked at and tryed to accomadate our needs for a vehicle. He was very friendly and open with us on everything. When we decided on what type of vehicle we wanted and what we wanted with the vehicle he didn't try to just sell us on one. He pulled mulitple vehicles matching our search out and let us look at them while explaining the vehicle to us as well as a test drive. He understood our budget and worked his butt off to try and stay within that budget. If you are going to get a new vehicle or just to look around I would highly recommend you go to Ray Brandt Dodge on the Westbank and find Eddie (also goes by Boo). The finance manager, Harold, was also excellent. He explained everything to us with detail and also tried his hardest to stay within our budget. He actually got us the best APR rate that we have every had. If it wasn't for these to individuals we wouldn't have traded one of our cars for a 2012, little alone both of our vehicles. We have been to many dealerships and traded many cars, but this dealership by far was a great experiance due to these two people named above. More
The salesman was fine and helpful. The finance manager was a rude and condescending female, who was very unhelpful because we have bad credit. By far the worst auto service and customer service I've seen. Brought my car in because I was told by another mechanic my pcm had a blown circuit which resulted in my cooling fan not functioning. The mec seen. Brought my car in because I was told by another mechanic my pcm had a blown circuit which resulted in my cooling fan not functioning. The mechanics at Ray Brandt tell me my frame is damaged and a wire is grounded that they can't reach and they can't do anything and that I should see an auto body shop... and charge me $115. I take their advice, and the auto body repairs what Ray Brandt said... doesn't work. Ray Brandt refuses to give any sort of refund, discount on repair, or even an apology to me. I also brought my car in at 8 am and was told it wouldn't be ready well into the afternoon or later... their shuttle takes me home... I get home and get the call to pick it up at 11am. Their shuttle driver decides not to answer his phone and Ray Brandt can't get a hold of him, so I have to pay to get a ride back to the dealer. I would avoid this dealership like the plague if I were you. More
