I brought my wrangler in for a leaking door. 2 trips to the dealership and nearly $1K later it’s “fixed” but I’m terrified it’s going to rain again and still leak in the car. I didn't purchase my vehicle from this dealership, but it's closer to my house, so I chose this location for service. I had an appointment on Nov 27, 2020 for an oil change, a recall, and the auto retrac it's closer to my house, so I chose this location for service. The first 2 issues were handled, but when it came to the side mirrors I was told by Vernon April that there was a recall and the parts were being ordered to repair it, so someone would call when the parts arrived. In late January 2021, I called to follow up and I was told none of the parts had come in yet. I called again on March 3, 2021 and was told there was no record of the side mirrors being checked and no parts had been ordered. I was highly disappointed and was told the only option was to schedule an appt to have it checked out (again). Yesterday, March 10, 2021, I brought my truck in to be checked and while I was checking in the service message for my start/stop feature popped up and I was told that would be taken care of as well. Fast forward 2 hours later and the serviceman calls me to the cashier and rapidly explains that there are no wires in my door, or mirror for the auto retract feature and the computer was "green" concerning my start/stop feature. I asked if it was possible to install the auto retract mirrors and I was told, "that will take an act of congress" and when I asked why the service message pops up for the start/stop feature, I was told he didn't know, but the computer showed "green" and the feature was engaged. Today, I decided to call my purchasing dealership in Slidell, LA and was helped far more over the phone than my in-person experience at this location. I was given advice on how to have the auto retract feature installed, as well as, the best time to schedule for the start/stop feature to be serviced. I will be going to the Slidell location for all other concerns. It's worth the trip. More
