Extra Mile Recently my car experienced engine trouble on the interstate while heading to an out of town funeral right before Christmas. I consulted this dealership while stranded and since everyone in service was busy at the time I called, I spoke with one of the salesmen. Regretfully I don't recall his name but he instructed me on what to do, and was very helpful. After calling roadside assistance and securing a tow, I finally got the car towed to the dealership about 4 hours later. I had to be at a funeral 4 hours away by the next day and needed transportation. Since the car was not involved in an accident, my insurance would not cover a car rental and at the time I called Volvo, they had no loaner cars available. Meanwhile the major rental company I called would not have anything until 5:00 pm. Mike Stone, Service Manager who I just really met as a result of this experience, called me back and told me he believed he could find me something by the time my car was towed in. He was very empathetic to my predicament and was able to provide transportation which was a relief and saved me more time and money. You could tell from our conversation he genuinely felt badly for my situation. Ryland Foster also helped me and was as polite as he could be in my stressed out state. Nick Dollar had been my advisor much of my 7 years as a service customer and always did his best for me. Jeanette has always been attentive, and John K. ( I believe ) the service technician and I have had a funny and good relationship. Everyone really came to my rescue that day and I consider all of the employees there my friends. Larry C More

Ron worked with us providing information in a low-key, sincere and pleasant manner- no pressure, which was nice. Ron and Sean did everything they could to make us happy; even agreeing to fix without charge a ding in the windshield that occurred in the first 24 hours we owned the vehicle. Everyone in the dealership was friendly and welcoming. More
They Don't Care I bought my 2004 C-70 Volvo convertible back in June, it was used with only 117,000 miles and seemed to be in excellent condition mechanically and aes I bought my 2004 C-70 Volvo convertible back in June, it was used with only 117,000 miles and seemed to be in excellent condition mechanically and aesthetically. I ended up bringing it to this dealership the first time a month later when my car started acting up, something was wrong with the acceleration and all of my service lights in the car kept flashing on and off. They seemed nice at first and got my car in quickly to check it out, some electrical cable in my car was almost worn apart and they had to order the cable and said my car would be fixed a week later on Thursday. We called to make sure they got the part and said it would still be fixed at that time. We called back Thursday to make sure it was done and they said it was a bit more difficult to replace than they thought so it wouldn't be until the next day, and I wasn't too irritated. The next day I called several times and left voicemails and did not get a hold of anyone until later in the afternoon that day when my car was FINALLY ready. Well my car started having problems again this past week, my engine was shaking when I started the car and couldn't even back it out of the driveway because my RPMs bottomed out at 1,500. They got my car yesterday morning and told us that a computer in my car had to be replaced, it's a VERY expensive part that they had in stock, and said last night AND this morning that my car would be ready to pick up by noon today. We decided to call and make for sure the car was ready before we drove out there because we live outside Lee's Summit, and we called at 11:20 and left a voicemail. They called back shortly after and said that they were having bro lets installing the new part into the older car because they did not have some diagram.. And that the car probably won't be finished until tomorrow. This was supposedly a very easy and quick fix that is now taking an extra day because someone does not know what they are doing, and on top of that they should have known this hours prior to when they TWICE told us the car would be ready and informed us... Thank goodness we did not drive out there. Anyway, they don't care, they aren't informative or quick to service, everything just seems to be a pain for them.. I would not ever recommend this dealership to anyone. More
Excellent Experience! Today was the first time I had to take my 2016 Volvo S80 in for maintenance. Joe was very friendly and helpful. He commented on how clean my car was. They fixed things for me after problems. Had some problems with a Volvo, but Sean made things right with a very good trade for a car I really wanted. Sean O'Leary was great. Wife's 2015 Volvo XC 60 Brought my wife's 15 XC 60 in for some service work. Was met by Joe and instantly felt comfortable. He was very knowledgeable and to the point.
