Shawn Holmes, rudest person I've ever spoken to in business First off, I traded in my car for a 2015 Camry even trade. The actual process went smooth, even though like an idiot I agreed to pay $500 doc fees for them just to do paperwork that doesn't cost more than $200. But it gets even better. I was promised by Mr. Shawn Holmes, who finished the deal with me that I will be getting my title in a week since I wanted to register the car myself in NYC for TLC. A week passed and I called him, the salesperson who did the deal with me and no answer. Left voicemails with no replies. A person at the desk told me that it will take them about a month to get that title because that's how long they usually take and I'm supposed to wait all that time with my temp registration they gave me. I called Toyota's main number to complain and spoke to a manager, the manager then connects me to the dealership again and I found myself finally speaking with Mr. Shawn who couldn't be more offended and angry because I had the audacity to complain to Toyota about their "very prestigious posh dealership that serves mainly people with high credit scores". This is how he answered the phone call " Hey Ali-my last name-what's going on? you just got your car a few days ago and you're already complaining? Toyota won't do anything for you because it's up to the DMV now. you can't expect us to return your call the same day, we're a busy dealership and we see hundreds of cars daily" I found the strength within me not to get lippy on the phone and I agrees to wait a couple of more days without being able to make a living. Another week passed by, during that week I took my week old CERTIFIED car to their service because the front rotors were warped and needed to be replaced. The service center offered me a great service and they went above and beyond, to be honest. After I took my car back I had to the dealership itself to speak to a person, since everyone is so busy to answer a freaking phone call because they took their money and that's it. I spoke to Mr. Sameh Ghabour, who took matters into his hands and got me my title plus my registration in a few days after we spoke. I'm very grateful for his attention and professional handling of the situation. My total time was around 3 weeks from getting the car. I feel that ridiculous amount of money they took from me on an even trade just to do paperwork for me was a complete waste. First of all, this is a used car that they should have the title for handy. Second, if you will make a profit for yourself on top of the even trade for doing BS paperwork, then you should at least do it right and on time. Last, people like Mr. Shawn Holmes shouldn't be doing business or talking to people, because he thinks REALLY highly of himself and he is nothing but a high school bully that ended up selling cars. Thank you Toyota Prestige of Ramsey for a truly educational experience. More

Frustrated Mother Who Never Wants to Come Back I had a 9:30 am appointment and showed up around 9:20. I checked in and two men who were there when I dropped the car off were wonderful. When speaking to Juan at Express I said to him that the Low Tire Pressure light had been on for a while and that we were routinely checking the pressure and it was fine the whole time. He yes-ed me to death. I stated to him I was going to run a few errands and come back. I asked him how long it would take and said no more than 90 minutes and I left. I ran my errands and called 2 hours later (11:30) giving the extra time incase something came up. I was told that it was in the wash and should be done soon. I said I would come right down. When I returned and checked in the car was still not ready and I thought no big deal. I live about 3 minutes from the service center so I sat down and waited. I waited for over an hour and almost 1 pm (almost 3 hour later-double the time I was quoted) I asked how much longer since I had to pick my son up from school. The girls at the desk (who were so nice) didn't know and could not find Juan anywhere. Finally they found my paperwork and I paid and left. I was not told anything about my car or could ask any questions since my service rep could not be found. I drove home and realized that on the way home the tire pressure light was still on. When I called they told me to bring it down and they would fix it right away. I didn't have time and came back the next day. I waited and finally a tech came out and told me that sensor was broken and that because I didn't tell them that it was flashing when you first turn on the car it was my fault it wasn't fixed. I never knew it blinked. I am sorry but when you have two 3 year olds the last thing you are looking at when you turn on the car is the tire pressure light. I was also told since Juan wasn't in that day that I couldn't have it fixed and I needed to make a new appointment. Well that was it. I can promise I will never be back and never recommend the service center More
