The manager Alberto cornejo has an extensive record.. including but not limited to forged bank notes, bad checks, wreckpeas driving, altering titles/plates, obtaining money under false pretenses, failure to have vehicles inspected, capias, and the list goes on. Don’t believe me? Look him up on Virginia case search. It all makes sense now after seeing his record. Who lets a person like that run a dealership. What a mess. The check engine light came on a couple hours after buying the car. We have already put $1000+ into the vehicle and it have had it a couple weeks. Save yourself the stress and buy a car from anywhere else. More
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PRIME MOTORS. The finance manager with the cheap suit, Maurice tried to pressure me into a loan at 18.99% APR. I told him that I plan to use my own financing, he laughed and said ‘with that many years and that many miles, nobody will finance this car. These are your only options’. I realized what a xxxxx-made xxxxxxx he is but I entertained this bald clown. With interest, I would pay $10,000 more than the price of the car. He said no bank will finance this car without a warranty. I knew it’s illegal for a dealership to force a warranty. I told Maurice I would return with my own financing. He laughed me out of his office. When Maurice started on the paperwork, he put the sale price $500 more than the price.I pulled up the listing and he had no option left but to change the price to the correct one. I noticed that the processing fee was a $1,650 I asked Maurice what that fee covers, he got upset and started crying. I took the car to a mechanic to do an inspection. He said this is the worst car he’s ever seen. I called Maurice to tell him how bad of a car he sold me. He very arrogantly kept calling me brother-man and said I have to get a state inspector to provide an estimate for what the car is worth. I already knew Maurice is full of xxxx because inspectors don’t provide estimates. But I indulged his lies. I asked Maurice if the estimate is lower than the sale price, will he refund me the difference? He said ‘ brotherman, lets’ just take things one step at a time’. I took the car to a safety inspector. The car failed the safety inspection. The inspector said that the inspection report is undoubtedly fraudulent and I should immediately report Prime Motors to the State Plice. The next day, I showed Maurice the safety inspection. He said helll take care of the issues. When I asked him to circle which items he will take aare of, he said ‘why should I do that?’ I told him that I’d like to know what specifically he will take care of. He replied with ’look brotherman, I’m a very transparent man’. In reality, the only transparent part of him is hair hairline. The next day, I dropped off the car. 12 days later, Maurice calls and says that the car is ready. He tried feeding me some xxxxxxxx about how safety inspectors have leeway in making their judgements. I pretended to believe his lies but if he has more that one brincell, he’d know I don’t believe a single word he says. When I picked up the car. I asked Maurice if he had a new safety inspection done. He said no. I figured this was fine as his inspector was already proven to be fraudulent. I drove straight to the safety inspector. He said that the high mount brake light and fog lights were still not working. I was, again disappointed but not surprised. I called Prime Motors again to tell them that they had not fixed these problems they promised to. Maurice started crying and yelling ‘look brotherman, I’ve already done so much for you. I spent $800 replacing the brakes, i’m losing money on the car’. Hearing how pathetic he sounded, I decided that paying for the rest of the repairs was superior to dealing with such a pansy. Also he did not actually replace the front brakes. His shop simply scraped the rust off and put them back on. I reported the fake inspection report to the VA State Police. More
I bought a 2013 Jeep Wrangler on January 9th. Before leaving the lot I noticed that I had an error message reading “gascap”. Diab told me it was because the gas cap was loose. On my way home, 1.5 Before leaving the lot I noticed that I had an error message reading “gascap”. Diab told me it was because the gas cap was loose. On my way home, 1.5 hours away, the car stopped. Funny for that repair Alberto sent me a cashapp to cover the needed repair. Ever since I have had nothing but issues. And it only has 88165 miles on it…something is fishy. I will definitely be seeking a lawyer. More
Alberto tried to bribe my husband with $350 9 days after we bought a 2013 Hyundai drove off the lot and the check engine light came on. Wanted him to come down and sign a paper saying we will stop writing b we bought a 2013 Hyundai drove off the lot and the check engine light came on. Wanted him to come down and sign a paper saying we will stop writing bad reviews and won’t sue. It’s going to take a lot more money than that Alberto. Literally such an insult. It’s cost us $1100 to fix this car that even our mechanic says is a ticking time bomb. They sell lemons. Save yourself some stress and walk away. Also they definitely messed with the odometer.. which is fraud. More
My husband purchased a Hyundai sonata on 3/12/2025 from prime motors signed the paperwork around 1pm he drove the car home and before 4pm the check engine light came on. They will not take the car back. We prime motors signed the paperwork around 1pm he drove the car home and before 4pm the check engine light came on. They will not take the car back. We paid for the car in cash so it’s not refundable where as If you finance the car you have 24 hours to return the vehicle. 3 hours. Tough xxxx. Not their problem. I was hung up on multiple times trying to speak to the manager. We took the car to our mechanic who we trust. $600 for the repairs. Roberto who sold us the car said “I’d expect nothing less for an 11 year old car”. He said we could bring the car back and run their own diagnostics on the car and repair what “their” diagnostics say is wrong. To be perfectly honest I don’t trust them to touch the car again. With the amount of disrespect I wouldn’t be surprised if they made it worse. We got scammed. Congratulations manny on your sale of a broken vehicle to a family that was just trying to buy a dependable vehicle. 0/10 do not reccomend. More

He made no attempt to look like he knew what he was doing.. After the test drive, I told Diab I want to put down a deposit and return to complete the purchase. I saw that a safety inspection was performed three days prior. Seeing this put my mind at ease. I noticed that the processing fee was a $1,650 I asked Maurice what that fee covers, he yelped ‘It’s the cost of doing business. Doing business in the City of Arlington is more expensive than Chantilly’ I nearly burst out laughing when he said ‘City of Arlington’. Surely he’s no genius but he doesn't even know that Arlington is a county. Again, I asked him to explain what fee covers, he got upset and started crying. I told him to relax and that I still want to buy the car. When I got in the car, I noticed was that the gas was nearly empty and the ‘oil change due’ sign came on. That is just what I have found SO FAR. When I purchased this vehicle, I was so excited. The interior looked great and so did the outside. It also ran well. The HUGE mistake I made because I trusted people AND I shouldn't have, is that I should have had it inspected and if they refused to let me - which they definitely would have - I would have walked away. I have never had an experience like this, and I have only ever purchased used vehicles. They should be ashamed of themselves. There is NO WAY they didn't know these problems existed. You can claim to sell something "as is" but when you intentionally hide problems, you are committing fraud. If I was informed of these issues and decided to purchase the vehicle, that on me. I was told that they "certify" all their vehicles before they sell them (THEY do, not a third party, so everything is certified). After reading a lot of reviews, it appears as if the "check engine light" coming ON is common shortly after the vehicle has been purchased. They are disconnecting the battery and/or clearing out problem codes in order to get the light to not illuminate so the buyer doesn't see it. It takes driving the vehicle to reset and engine engage to get the light to come back on. That is called a scam, that is called fraud. Glad I didn't purchase the warranty because apparently that is a scam too. Not sure how these people live with themselves or sleep at night. I am in about 3K in to fix all these issues. Go to a dealership and purchase a used vehicle. Every time I have done that, it came with at least a 30-day warranty, or it was certified pre-owned. Also, I was told they needed a "deposit" to just "hold" the vehicle while I decided if I wanted it. They (the Finance Manager) NEVER said it was a non-refundable down payment and that if you don't purchase the vehicle, you are out of that money. When you think sleezy car salesmen that are liars and scammers, this is what they are referring to. This is the Prime Motors on King Street in Arlington Virginia in case they want to claim that I am reviewing the wrong business. More
