Living in Tallahassee, I am used to the rumors and myths that you have to go to Atlanta, Tampa, Orlando or Jacksonville to find a good deal on a car - new or used. When my wife and I decided that our growing family needed to step up to a minivan, we found an amazing deal on a 2008 Odyssey & Proctor. When I showed up I was greeted with smiles and warm handshakes from Jeff and Obie. At no point did I get the smarmy car dealership feeling that used car salesmen are unfairly saddled with. They worked with me on price and Jeff gave me an excellent price for my trade-in. When I realized that I didn't have an updated insurance card on me, Obie found the telephone number for my carrier and let me use his phone to get a copy of the new card faxed over - then when that happened, he was able to view the fax on his cell phone which saved lots of time. All in all, Obie and Jeff proved that the Proctor name in Tallahassee still stands for excellence. You don't stay in business for 100+ years by hiring jerks. A+ all around. More

There were no new Odysseys on the lot, but Mike locked in the 0.9% on the vehicle we wanted even though it arrived after the official expiration -- and even so we got the van for a few hundred dollars under the MSRP. The financing through Honda was hassle-free, and everyone we dealt with at Proctor was courteous and friendly -- and answered our many, many questions. More

I have worked with Proctor Honda in previous car needs. Wayne sold me my previous Accord and when it was time for me to renew my lease, I went back to Wayne. My first car was a two-cylinder Honda Coupe, an Wayne sold me my previous Accord and when it was time for me to renew my lease, I went back to Wayne. My first car was a two-cylinder Honda Coupe, and I have been a Honda fan ever since. Yet, I still purchased other brands until the mid-90's when I purchased a Civic new after my car was totaled in an accident. I did not purchase the Civic locally, however, and did not have a relationship with a dealer. When I first went to Proctor Honda, they were patient with me and worked with me until I was ready to make a new car decision. I am glad I purchased from Proctor and established a relationship with the service department and the sales staff. That made all the difference when it was time for me to make a decision on whether to purchase, lease or go somewhere else. I can't say enough good things about my experience. More
