After building a truck through the GM family and friends discount website I found the perfect truck match at Progressive Chevrolet. Lisa (lead manager) whom I spoke to on the phone had me sold, I just had one very very important question, do you accept the family and friends GM discount? The reply was yes but only if you bring in a vehicle to trade. I said I do but it’s not the nicest vehicle in the world. I sold my truck I had prior to my deployment overseas and bought a Spark. Anyways long story short I don’t make an appointment and I receive a phone call a few days later asking me if I was still interested again I said yes and that I would call back if I was. Stared at my dream truck online a few moments later and called Lisa back to tell her I will be in to purchase the truck and I asked that very important question once again “do you accept the GM family and friends discount?” “Yes we do with a vehicle trade in”. I drive 2 and half hours later and was greeted by a sales associate who sat me down who by the way was very friendly. All is going well until I see what my final price was going to be with no family discount applied, the trade in offer was low which I expected. She went and asked her GM manager twice about the discount. She bought him back the third time and stated we don’t offer the GM family and friends discount unless you give us a nice worthy vehicle to trade in. PLEASE TELL YOUR FUTURE POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS THAT KEY DETAIL SO THEY DONT WASTE THEIR TIME. More

This is the only dealership that ive seen that lets their “certified” pre- owned vehicles sit without any follow up inspection before selling them to customers. 2017 GMC Acadia sat for 3 months with no follow up inspection. I realized that my A/C did not work in the beginning of this summer. I could the dealership and explained to them what was wrong but the sales man Mr. Black insisted that I somehow broke it myself, saying that I must I’ve broke over Gravel and knocked one of the AC hoses lose. Mr Black then persisted to tell me that I should’ve checked the AC before buying the car, very unprofessional approach for a dealership ship that “cares” about their customers. Failed battery shorty afterwards, I then talked to a Mr Jay service Advisor. He tested the battery for me and explained to me that it indeed failed the test. I explained to him that I only had the car for 3 months is there is compensation since it was so early into my purchase, he then said no and I’ll have to buy another batter that was close to $270 dollars. After telling him how unsatisfied I was with the service, he then said to me that “I’ve worked here for 40 years, I know how this works, I’m sorry that you don’t understand”. With 40 years of service you would imagine a top tier level of professionalism, but instead he showed disrespectful character. It’s very unfortunate of what happened but my family not I will never spend our money there again. More
